I did all the tests you suggested last year with medichecks all ok as my thyroid went overactive. I've had thyroid checked before my op was ok I did ask my gp for iron levels but they did ferritin again think 39.
When were these tests

Looking through previous posts…..Couldn’t see any test results for vitamin D, folate or B12
B12 drops significantly after anaesthetic
Ferritin is too low at 39
Would need full iron panel test for anaemia
Have you had ultrasound scan of thyroid
You test negative for Graves’ disease antibodies and negative for TPO and TG antibodies
Hashimoto’s frequently starts with transient hyperthyroid results and symptoms before becoming increasingly hypothyroid
20% of Hashimoto's patients never have raised antibodies

Gluten intolerance is often a hidden issue too.
Request coeliac blood test BEFORE considering trial on strictly gluten free diet
Last one done on 20th April early morning at Dr's 3 weeks after surgery
So Ft4 has dropped significantly and TSH increased
What’s the result above refer too

I think this is my latest plus thyroid April this year. I've had lots of immune tests including coliec as under immunologist. My diet is mainly gluten free as I haven't tolerated it for years.
I haven't had a ultrasound scan on thyroid yet. Unfortunately the last 2 mths I had a big cancer scare so had 2 ct scans mri scan ultrasound on womb it's been not stop appointments with a operation very stressful. Do you think it will be helpful? I take Betteryou vit d 3000 biocare b complex I tolerate well vit c 1000mg d mannose cranberry pac and probiotics.
If your operation was only 7 weeks ago you can't expect things to be back to normal yet. You probably have low B12 after the anesthetic, and that would make you feel very light-headed and dizzy. I'm amazed doctors don't recognise that fact, but they don't.
Also, the shock to your system will have affected your conversion of T4 to T3, so that will make you more hypo, and that also will make you exhausted, light-headed and dizzy. Plus the propranolol is probably reducing your conversion, anyway. It is well-known for that - although, apparently not by docotors. Ask your doctor if he can give you a different beta blocker.
Thankyou my cuti Dr said it can take 3mths to get over full hysterectomy. I've also had a horrible flu type virus. I was put on propranolol for the overactive thyroid and the symptoms do they all work the same? I've now halfed the tablets which gp said to do.
But, you don't have an over-active thyroid. Your levels came down, didn't they? That's the impression I got rereading your previous posts. You probably don't even need the beta blocker anymore. But, no, they don't all work the same where thyroid levels are concerned.
I would have said 'at least' 3 months! Doctors always seem to under-estimate recovery times. Took me longer than 3 months and mine wasn't even a full hysterectomy, I still have my overies. So, don't expect too much of yourself for quite a while. Be kind to yourself.
I was told by one hospital I had overactive and put on propranolol as I was tachycardia all time and sweats with awful aniexty. The levels went down just after I started the propranolol my local hospital are keeping eye on things waiting to see. I have found the propranolol help with the aniexty and my heart rate gone from really high to now low🤷♀️
After a bit more time to recover from your surgery, you could ask your doctor to check your orthostatic vitals with an active stand test.
Were you previously diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension?
No I didn't get a diagnosis just cardiologist said my heart rare rises upon standing I could try a heart drug they give to Pots people.
Your Ft4 is low which likely means your FT3 is low too and causing symptoms. Anxiety can be caused by low FT3. Recommend getting full thyroid panel - TSH, FT4 & FT3 together.
I'm having bloods done for hospital soon as I have follow up appointment with endrocolgy 3rd July. I did all what you mentioned last Sept and my t3 was 4.50. I have no idea what to really say at my appointment apart from I feel exhausted light headed and dizzy especially when I stand. I have lost more weight 16lb all told in 9mths.
