Quitting wine
Decided to
quit
drinking
today. Love wine but it’s become a massive problem & I needed to quit. Did it once before a couple of years ago for 4 months & then started again. So many reasons to stop, health, weight, cost, sleep, saying stupid things I wouldn’t say sober.

Newly diagnosed + constantly surprised by my symptoms
At that point, I had
quit
drinking
for about 1.5 years (now it’s a little over 2 years). I had noticed my ADHD’ness SO much since is had
quit
drinking
. And now, I can’t stop learning about it; noticing how my quirks are actually adhd symptoms. It’s overwhelming sometimes.

There’s just too much pain
I
quit
drinking
recently. I wanted to put a stop to the unhealthy habit and I knew that my kids would benefit from seeing me a healthy and happier mom but I’m not either and I’m lost. Everything is worse for the time being. Im going to try to get some sleep.

Have to retake a bloodtest
I
quit
drinking
completely once they told me, and haven’t drank for a week, and intended to stay off the booze until I’ve retaken the blood test, but should I be concerned? I’m genuinely freaked out.

How do you quit drinking
I’d love to
quit
drinking
. I’d say I binge drink a couple times a year and feel awful after. I have an alcohol problem, I’m not sure it’s considered an addiction. What are some ways you stopped drinking without going to AA?

Afib in a Young Person
However, I would say around 24 hours after I
quit
drinking
I was laying in my bed, and suddenly felt my heart racing and then slowing down, back and forth. Of course I freaked out and called the ambulance and was later diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation.

Can I get off Nicotine without replacing with another vice?
I
quit
smoking at the same time I
quit
drinking
BUT have been addicted to Nicorette Quickmist for over 3 years now. I am trying to quit the Quickmist. I am so addicted to it, in the past I have trashed my house trying to find a pack and been late to meetings etc in order to buy some first.

Stuck
I
quit
smoking and
drinking
already but there are other lifestyle changes that I need to do something about. It seems I’m living just to eat and sleep? Where is the joy of just living? I want to run but my injuries keep me back. I feel insecure like I’m not good enough and am destined to fail.

Question on labs….
While I was on eliquis, I
quit
drinking
for the first 4 weeks and then it was 2-3 drinks a day for a couple nights. So I’m not sure what the dr is worried about. Is slightly elevated ferritin and high AST ratio enough to worry about ALD ? I’m not a tee-totaler but not out of control either.

Dry mouth and other symptoms.
I
quit
drinking
after my first feeling of soreness in my liver, and unfortunately I did it without a proper detox, but I made it through that. Ever since, however, I've been having a constant dry mouth and a complete loss of the hunger sensation.
