F2 fibrosis, scared
As it's been 7 months since I
quit
drinking
, I hope every day that I will see improvement. And I have! But still feeling pain sometimes (not all the time anymore) and still being able to feel my liver in there if I apply pressure is disappointing to me.

Diagnosed with cirrhosis
I
quit
drinking
over 10 years ago, I've had weight loss surgery and lost over 5 stone which as reduced my fatty liver to practically zero. I don't have hepatitis or autoimmune liver disease, yet I still have cirrhosis. I'm only 41. I'm feeling really lost and low.

how to let go of fear I want to know
I
quit
drinking
about a month ago but I just had a drink and I feel like it’s making things worse. I am a mess. Then the next second I’m stronger but all in all I’m just experiencing a lot of stress. I don’t know what to do. I keep thinking it would be nice to die I’m tired of the fear.

Quitting wine
Decided to
quit
drinking
today. Love wine but it’s become a massive problem & I needed to quit. Did it once before a couple of years ago for 4 months & then started again. So many reasons to stop, health, weight, cost, sleep, saying stupid things I wouldn’t say sober.

There’s just too much pain
I
quit
drinking
recently. I wanted to put a stop to the unhealthy habit and I knew that my kids would benefit from seeing me a healthy and happier mom but I’m not either and I’m lost. Everything is worse for the time being. Im going to try to get some sleep.

Newly diagnosed + constantly surprised by my symptoms
At that point, I had
quit
drinking
for about 1.5 years (now it’s a little over 2 years). I had noticed my ADHD’ness SO much since is had

. And now, I can’t stop learning about it; noticing how my quirks are actually adhd symptoms. It’s overwhelming sometimes.

Have to retake a bloodtest
I
quit
drinking
completely once they told me, and haven’t drank for a week, and intended to stay off the booze until I’ve retaken the blood test, but should I be concerned? I’m genuinely freaked out.

Afib in a Young Person
However, I would say around 24 hours after I
quit
drinking
I was laying in my bed, and suddenly felt my heart racing and then slowing down, back and forth. Of course I freaked out and called the ambulance and was later diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation.

How do you quit drinking
I’d love to
quit
drinking
. I’d say I binge drink a couple times a year and feel awful after. I have an alcohol problem, I’m not sure it’s considered an addiction. What are some ways you stopped drinking without going to AA?

BUT have been addicted to Nicorette Quickmist for over 3 years now. I am trying to quit the Quickmist. I am so addicted to it, in the past I have trashed my house trying to find a pack and been late to meetings etc in order to buy some first.

Stuck
I
quit
smoking and
drinking
already but there are other lifestyle changes that I need to do something about. It seems I’m living just to eat and sleep? Where is the joy of just living? I want to run but my injuries keep me back. I feel insecure like I’m not good enough and am destined to fail.
