My Update on 2nd Covid Vaccine - the Oxford
As promised , here is my update on my second vaccine. I received my first on the 21st of January , with only a sore arm for about a week as a result. Fast forward 12 weeks, my rheumatologist reduced my hydroxy-chloro quinine down to one a day . Not sure if these are related but i went into a flare 3rd

CBD oil stops my RLS
Hi, I've been meaning to post for a while. I've had RLS since I was a teenager. Seen doctors and been prescribed Quinine (didn't work), some thought it was still a psychological condition(!) and I genuinely thought I'd just have to put up with it... Then CBD oil hit the market and everything changed

RLS medication options
Hi all. I’ve had RLS since I was ~15 and I believe that it is the root cause of my depression due to the sleep disruption and the inability to ever feel totally relaxed. I’ve been given multiple medications for RLS/sleep including zopiclone, amitryptiline, quinine (!?), and most recently gabapentin.

Herbal Alternative of doxycycline (Quinine and knotweed)
The in vitro tests suggested that extracts from seven different plants were more effective against the Lyme disease bacteria than doxycycline and cefuroxime. The plants in question were black walnut (Juglans nigra), cat’s claw (Uncaria tomentosa), sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua), Mediterranean rockrose

Quinine and Rivaroxaban
I am pacemaker dependant having had an av node ablation. Having given up all alcohol, which I used to really enjoy I have very infrequent episodes of AF. I have replaced my Gin and Tonic with a non alcoholic spirit and sugar free tonic. However, I have just heard that I should not be having tonic

A bit of progress and CBD oil
Hi everyone.. Just thought I'd write to give you the latest on my treatment just in case it would help anyone else.. I have had yet another blood test and been told everything is "normal".. which is good... although I've not seen the results for myself so don't know what the actual ferritin level is.

Is it ok to take Quinine
Hi. I have suffered with RLS off and on for years and years but stretching my calf muscles seemed to fix it. Recently RLS has got much worse. I had complete knee replacement 12 weeks ago and all is good. About 10 days ago RLS flared up one night and I couldn’t get rid of it. I’ve now been taking

Coronavirus drugs: Where we are and what we know

Can Edoxaban be used long term
Beware what medication you take> I am 77yes off age, train daily and worked 7 days a week. 2 years ago I tore a muscle in my calf, I usually simply run off any pain but my daughter pleaded for me to see my Dr, the first time in 35 years. He prescribed Quinine Sulphate. That night I took my first tablet

Muscle spasms in leg
Haven’t posted for a while, but started to get muscle spasms in my right leg again. Had problems over the last 6 years or so, and took quinine for a few years. It seems to come in flare ups, and only affects one leg. While at rest my calf “ moves” it looks like there is something alive in there ! I

CBD oil over $80 an ounce each week is worth it to me to stop RLS.
My cousin gives me a discount on my .3% THC CBD oil at $80 an ounce that last about a week or so for me. I'd say 5% is a lot! By the time I used CBD oil I was so miserable with RLS that I would have made any sacrifice to get relief. I pray u find a cheaper solution. I tried gabapentin, Requip, pamelor

Cramps
I have been on PD dialysis for eight months now and have acclimated to the daily challenges except for one: cramping. I get cramps in my feet, calves, thighs and abdomen. I'm careful with diet and water restrictions. Cramps come at night and in the morning, sometime mild, sometime quite severe.

Possible CKD
I've suffered with restless leg syndrome for years, it's recently got worse. Blood test showed low iron levels. I was started on Ropinirole to ease leg twitching and cramps, this didn't work and was supplementing with Gabapentin and zappa in just to get some sleep. Been back to the GP and I'm now on

Does anyone have pain in veins being used to draw blood? Can anything be done for that?
I am on a strong blood thinner and feel that my veins are going to split open. The blood thinner is due to arrhythmias which seem to have cleared up after being treated with B12. Is the vein pain similar to the brittle nails? I also get leg muscle cramps and have learned to drink tonic water with

Can we talk about foot cramps, too?
Since starting my GCA journey in 2018, I've been plagued with extremely painful toe and foot cramps. They occur while I'm resting. My toes literally draw up and curl. Any effort to rub it out or calm the pain is futile. Stretching makes them intensify 10x! Currently, I'm taking prednisone 22 mg. and
