Heavy Bleeding with Mirena Coil and Prostap Injection, what gives?
Hi, just thought I would sign up. Feeling lost really. I have suffered from heavy periods which worsened as I have got older. After meds to reduce bleeding didn't work, my GP suggested to have a Mirena coil fitted, it was too painful so the procedure was abandoned to I was booked in for a hysteroscopy

New on this forum, need help for my Dad please
Hello everybody, My dad is in his 70s and in 2015 he had 6 weeks of daily radiation. He then had regular Prostap or Zoladex injections. The last injection was in October 2016. He's been going to his oncologist every few months to have blood tests. His PSA has been around 0.1 or 0 going back as far as

Zoladex is it a good idea?
Hi all I've just been back to my consultant he gave me 3 options a hysterectomy which I said would be a very last resort. Another laparoscopy and the removal of my left ovary as this is the only side I ever seem to have cysts on or to have zoladex or prostap. I'm really concerned from reading the side

Prostap and ME/CFS
Hello everyone, Following my hysterectomy, with conservation of ovaries, and excision of 'visible' endo (at a BSGE Centre), I'm in worse pain than ever. The surgeon seemed as disappointed as I am and has suggested a 3 month trial of Prostap before we consider removal of the ovaries, to see whether they

Prostap and pain
I've now been on prostap for 8 weeks. I'm not taking HRT with it. I had bleeding and a lot of pain in the first couple of weeks, which fortunately subsided. I'm now experiencing quite a bad flare up of pain, although I'm not bleeding. I had decapeptyl last year (with HRT) which was abandoned after the
