Flecainide of beta blockers?
I've got PVCs, 24% of all beats at the last halter. Was prescribed 50mg Flecainide twice a day. It s not working now, started feeling the fast/extra hard beats again. I have an appetite my EP next week. Should I agree to increase the dose of flecainide (which is what I think he'll suggest) or ask to

Blood Pressure and Heat, SLE and more.😕
My Cardiologist is very thorough, and caring, he is very concerned about not having much reasoning for my Hypertension with SLE other than my
PVC
. I have been on lisinopril, amlodipine, Procardia, and Cardezem for a year now, and nothing is changing my BP.

No PVCs if I exercise regularly. Taking Flecainide. Why do they go away when I exercise?
I have been diagnosed with PVCs. On my halter, 24% of all beats were PVCs. My cardiologist said this was very high. He recommended ablation, but the idea of this scared the hell out of me, so he prescribed 50mg twice a day of Flecainide. The weird thing is, if I run for 30 mins every other day, I don't

Advice with best med for ectopics.
Been taking Atenolol 50mg for 27 years now for mild hypertension but since about a month or so ago I have started having PVCs on a daily basis. An ecogram showed a completely normal heart and subsequent holter test revealed about 3% premature beats but three different cardiolgists all say they same that

Is it my imagination?
I have noticed a sharp increase in posts starting with;
PVC
, SVT, AF, PALPITATIONS, ECTOPICS etc. This is since the warmer summer temperatures started. Now I wonder if heat has a link to arrhythmias. Mine has become more and more noticeable.

New to Afib
I’ve had PVCs for years but lately have had new symptoms which could be Afib. I was woken in the night by a strong, rhythmic flapping sensation in my heart, together with a racing heartbeat. The flapping was very distinct, like a bird’s wings, and went on for a few seconds, maybe a minute. Does this

Anxiety and PVCs
I get occasional PVCs , but anxiety throughout the day, maybe one panic attack a week, where my heart races for 5 minutes or so. Is this a dangerous situation, as in is there a chance the high heart rate will cause PVCs that lead to arrest?

Ectopic beats becoming increasingly uncomfortable
Hi, I have inappropriate sinus tachycardia and take 120g Diltiazem twice a day, I also have ectopic beats (
pvc
and the other one can’t recall the name) not frequently as some sufferers and I’m aware they are usually harmless and more a nuisance.

Asthmatic and Recurrent Bronchitis
For the last few years my asthma hasn't been well managed. It was following several bouts of chest infections, i never fully recovered and haven't felt "normal" since... My doctor referred me to a specialist as they ran out of ideas. At the specialist clinic I had a spirometer test (back in september

What is this called? Is it dangerous?
Context: Healthy, fit, 20 yr old male So I've had PVCs my whole life, seen doc about it and there are some irregularities with my heart but nothing immediately threatening (I've had no treatment but am supposed to get yearly checkups). Yesterday, I had basically a string of PVCs that was a little scary

Does anyone have a real issue coping?
So I’ve been having some issues with NSVT (not SVT- thats atrial this is ventricle) I have also had issues with atrial tachycardia, excessive PACS so much so the loop recorder read it as AFIB, PVCs and inappropriate sinus tachycardia. Now obviously the NSVT is the one that worries me the most-since it

PVC, very scared
I finally went to hospital today and they said I had a
PVC
and to follow up with a cardiologist. They prescribed me a low dose beta blocker.

Am I the only one on the planet or do others also experience occasional pain in heart for a second, centre of chest with ecotpics ?
Hi, notice that when I'm stressed, anxious, I get gas bubbles that form in my esophagus and experience indigestion. I notice that this irritates my vagus nerve as it is in the esophagus and that controls the heart's rhythm, so I'll get an ectopic (either a skipped or extra beat) Sometimes I'll get a
