Does anyone who suffers from these and other arrhythmia a also get constant dizziness and lightheaded mess and also nausea? I have been experiencing all the latter and the ENT consultant I saw yesterday thought it might be due to my heart problems rather than an inner ear problem. He gave some balance

Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. (Revisited)
Back in November 2012, I wrote an article "Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. My experiences as a patient." The content of that post is still relevant, and may help some of the new members. So I decided to re-post it; Here it is:- Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. My experiences

Newby dealing with Emphysema
Fifty eight years later, after lots of industrial exposures from chimney sweeping, painting cars, welding, machining and plastics molding (
PVC
/plastisols). ad on 35 years of smoking a pack a day...no wonder I'm "here".

Why can no doctor give me a straight answer and it seems like I am slowly feeling less physical. Depression?
I am currently a 22 year old white male turning 23 this upcoming Tuesday which I am excited for. My height is 70 inches and my weight is 164lbs currently. I am originally born on Long Island New York and lived there for 20 years of my life and just recently moved to Georgia 2 years ago. I landed a job

Interpretations of spirometry results
Results comparison between an individual’s measured value and the reference value. If the FVC and the FEV1 are within 80% of the reference value, the results are considered normal. The normal value for the FEV1/FVC ratio is 70% (and 65% in persons older than age 65). When compared to the reference value

Ectopic beats, pvcs
I am constantly worrying when the next
pvc
will come because it scares me. I am a 50 yeat old female in good health otherwise. Doc gave me metoprolol tartrate 25 mg once a day to take to stop them. I have to admit that it does work, but in my mind in still paranoid they are going to start again.

New here, strange symptoms and AF aged 29
Hi all, I am new here as I think I have AF and potentially other things going on and I'm hoping you may be able to shed some light on my symptoms and whether they're typical of AF. I do apologise for the length of the post, there is however a bit of a backstory. I am 29, I have Hashimotos thyroiditis

Health Anxiety
Just kind of a question if anyone knows how to really separate you know palpitations (the fluttering feeling in my chest for me specifically) or if it's like Atrial fibrillation,
PVC
, maybe ventricular fibrillation...

Great fev results
Went for my spirometry today, was very anxious and praying for at least 50% fev1. My Dr told me sorry, I didn't make the 50% mark, but you did make 89.7%. Holy hell, I nearly fainted😁 so excited. I feel so lucky and thankful to be alive. I didn't make huge changes in my life style, just started going

Random Feelings in my chest
Ok for awhile now, probably since November I have been having these PVC's. For the first about 5 months it caused some really bad anxiety and panic attacks. I have since then got those under control. Originally with medicine, Sertraline and Xanax. I decided months ago i was not gonna be a slave to a

Following from my last post I had spirometer today and these are my results. I'm 31 female. Specialist said it's normal but will have more detailed one in a month. Can anyone shed any light do they seem normal? I'm clueless all I can see is that my predicted fev1 should be 8.3 but is 7.8 and I'm worried

Tired of not knowing
Tired of palpitations: I've had palpitations since I've been in my 30's. I'm 64 now. Mine range from tachycardia to PVC'S. They really don't know what they are because although I've worn a Holter monitor 3 times and another thing that I wore for a month, my heart didn't do anything while I had them
