I have noticed a sharp increase in posts starting with; PVC, SVT, AF, PALPITATIONS, ECTOPICS etc.
This is since the warmer summer temperatures started.
Now I wonder if heat has a link to arrhythmias. Mine has become more and more noticeable.

Anything which makes the heart work harder will exacerbate any arrhythmia.
My AF is always so much better in the summer months and I put it down to doing more in the garden, like mowing the grass and taking longer walks. So for me exertion helps.

Sunshine increases the amount of nitric oxide that our bodies produce. This is good for cardiovascular health in general so might well have an effect on afib. Incidentally Nebivolol is the sole beta blocker that helps produce nitric oxide. I always notice when I am sunbathing that after a while my heartbeats are more noticeable - not faster but stronger.
That's interesting. I find if I sit in hot sun it totally drains me
I prefer the shade but I have got used to working in the sun here. When it gets above 32° and is humid I have to pace myself or I get a fast heartbeat. I force myself to sunbathe for 50mins-1hr a day once I have built up to that but I am always glad to move onto the lounger under our lime tree! I always feel better once the hotter days come though it would be nice if it stayed between 25° and 30°. When it goes above 35° I stay indoors and do very little. We have lived here nearly 19 years and it is getting progressively hotter . My tolerance for very hot weather is declining with age.
My ink was hardly dry when I got painful palps for about 10 minutes. I was convinced I was about to expire.
