COPD advice
I have recently had my copd review with the nurse and a first Spiromatary test in 4 years. Four years ago my reading was FEV1 76% and now its FEV1 47% so I was shocked. I have had a recent virus infection doing the rounds but this does seem to be very different readings. I have asked to be re-tested

How many ablations can you have?
Hello everybody hope you’re well as can be expected, With my pvcs playing up and having some tiny snippets of fast heart rate, I’m nearly two years post my second rf ablation, just thought I’d ask how many ablations you can have before your ep gives up and chucks me on the knackers yard. I’ve had very

No more multiple PVCs after daily sauna
I am a 58 years old male. I went into cardiac arrest almost 2 years ago when I was rapid afib. I now have a pacemaker defibrilator. Thanks to my diet, rich in potassium and magnesium, I have been afib free most of the time. Though at times I still had multiple PVC's, bigeminy usually at lunch time.

Singulair - Flu Like Symptoms Side Effect
Hey All! A little bit of background on me. Early October I was infected with COVID-19, I’m 4 times vaxxed, and while it was only two days of symptoms, I ended up with SOB on day 3 which later turned into Long COVID. I was prescribed Flovent and Salbutamol by the ER Doctor, my NP then prescribed me Symbicort

Going in For Second Ablation
Hi folks! I had my first ablation over four years ago, at Texas Cardiac Arrythmia with Dr. Andrea Natale. I wasn't able to come off my medication after, but the meds then worked to control my afib and numerous PVCs where it didn't pre-ablation. During these four years I had been taking 50 mg of Flecainide

Hoes it going fellow heart obsessed lot, do any of you guys take this and how much? I’ve tried magnesium and with the beta blockers it seems to slow my heart way too much. Pvcs are frequent but not as bad as they were. They’re there all the time so looking for a natural help. Cod liver oil is good for

Breakthrough episode (Update)
My EP only put me on a miniscule dosage of sotalol as I was doing it out of hospital and couldn't be directly monitored (40mg twice a day). I feel 1000 times better, no kidding, since starting the sotalol even at this low dose. No more daily PVCs, no more extreme fatigue. After checking my QTC to

PVCs and sleep/screentime
Suffered from PVCs since my early 20s (now late 40s) - usually just the odd afternoon a couple of times a year and the occasional noticeable skip. Around the vaccines and covid they went full-time, bigeminy, prolonged pvcs and multiple trips to cardio/a&e. All benign and supposedly not frequent enough

I had 3 ablations at MUSC to address PVC’s and ARVC, got an ICD after that, then developed AFib followed by an atrial ablation and finally a cardioversion to fix atrial flutter a month after the shocker. I’ve felt fine through all of this - asymptomatic all along. I’m 70 and was a runner for 22 years

Can you have multiple heart 'problem' types at the same time and what's the significance?
So far on my list over the last few years, I've had Atrial Fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, Sinus Bradycardia, Premature Atrial Contractions, (bigeminy, trigeminy) and Premature Ventricular Contraction, Right Bundle Branch Block and now it looks like potentially Atrioventricular nodal reentry

More problems with PVCs.
It’s now nearly a month since I had a quadruple bypass. For over a week I’ve had lots of PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) as referred to in an earlier post, but today they have gone into overdrive. I’ve had them since about 0900 this morning and it’s now just past midnight. The frequency varies

loads of pvcs
had my first cardio version last Wednesday after being in AF for 3 months. I flipped back into NSR after the first shock which is great but since then I have been dealing with 1000s of pvcs. 4-8 per mins. It is draining! I knew they say that everyone gets them although not this many I guess. I feel

1000's of PVCs!
So about 5 weeks ago, out of nowhere, I started with PVCs constantly over a 24 hour period. It stopped the next day. It happened again 2 days later, again gor 24 hours. Then about 4 days after that, I was woken up at 4am by really strong heart flutters. I got up, went to work (I work in cardiac theatres

Ongoing nausea
I am on the full cocktail of meds for HCM and AF. Bisoprolol was changed to 6.25 mg Nebivolol 5 weeks ago due to increased PVCs which are now under control. Am suffering with constant pretty bad nausea BUT this had started on and off a few weeks before the change of beta blocker. I was having good and

PVC’s (ectopics) or AF?
I’m now home following a bypass about three weeks ago. Whilst I feel fatigued, I’m managing to walk 500m or so daily. My resting heart rate has come down to about 58-68 bpm. The medication which I am taking daily to control arrhythmias is Bisoprolol 10mg which replaces my former Sotalol. There is

PVCs again and again!
Still seem to be getting more than my fair share of PVCs recorded on my Kardia. Yesterday every hourly reading recorded SR with premature ventricular contractions. Fed up with it as I'm really aware of them. I've taken an extra bisoprolol today and am hoping that helps.....I guess I'm going to have

Metopralol tartrate vs succinate er..differences please and which is better for eptopics and flutters?
Would like to know which is better for what? I have pacs pvcs and some low hr in the 50s at times. I have been on succinate for several months a low dose didn't work well. I have been switched to the Tartrate. I would like to know what has helped others. It seemed to help with flutters some but
