Fibroids
Hi all I have fibroids (multiple but about 4.5 cm). I have had to wait over a year to see a consultation and just got back, what a waste of time. I have many typical symptoms, I am exhausted with constant heavy feeling, stomach, groin, back and leg pain, problems with needing to use the loo suddenly

End Game. Advice on Palliative Care.
my Dad was diagnosed with
pulmonary
fibrosis
about 18 months ago. Took him from being a fit and healthy 79 year old to a very ill 81 year old now. He has been on a downward spiral since Sept 2021 and since Christmas has pretty much been bed bound.

Internal Burning
Hi,I am new here. I am desperate for answers. I had a hysterectomy 21 years ago and it was only through recurrent UTIโs that I was eventually diagnosed with vaginal atrophy. I was put on Vagifem and a vaginal moisturiser but whereas my UTIโs stopped the intense burning ( as if someone had put a tube

Adenomyosis
Just read another letter from consultant to my GP. It says., Posterior Myometrium is thickened containing small intramural fibroids or Adenomyosis. Endometrium measure 3mm and my ovaries have scaring.Does this sound like maybe Adenomyosis and Endometriosis? Any thoughts please x

D&C miscarriage- next steps?
Hi fellow ivf warriors, I had a d&c on 29th March after we discovered no heat beat at 6 week scan. Without speaking to my ivf consultant (which costs ยฃ175 a go) I'm just wondering what should be my next steps? I have one PGS tested embryo left (on ice) so hoping to do another transfer as soon as possible

TWW here we come!
So we had our first embryo transfer today and they said for day 2 it was a 4 cell embryo and top quality. The transfer itself went very smoothly and the doctor was very happy with it. So now for the dreaded two week wait. I went out and bought lots of the recommended foods - pineapple, kiwi, strawberries

Feeling really down in 2WW
Sorry for the long intro. Im not a very positive person, I find it hard, even though I try really hard, to find the positives in things. I am really good at masking how I feel and have an array of facades I put on so others donโt know how I am feeling. This is why posting on this site is really difficult

Tibolone
Hi everybody, I am 6 months into a 3 month prostap injection and 2 weeks on tibolone. I was expecting the hot flushes to have calmed down a bit by now but they haven't and having issues sleeping because of it. Also have very achey legs. Has anyone else experienced this on tibolone? I'm not sure if I

Lupus Anticoagulant testing while on Warfarin
I have searched the group but I do not seem to find what I need to know. If your hematologist insist on testing for Lupus Anticoagulant how many days must you stop warfarin before the test? The hematologist says that the DVRTT test works without stopping Warfarin. But I have read many times that while

Extensive history - how far to push testing before returning embryo
Hi I have had what feels like an extensive fertility journey with a lot of emotional pain along the way. Started trying at 33, am now 37. I'm in a position now where I have one PGTA tested embryo and one untested embryo. I don't expect to achieve further embryos in the future so see these two as my last

Awaiting a lap. Is it worth paying privately for an mri?
I'm awaiting a lap, but I have no idea of how long I will wait. I was originally told I had fibroids in Oct 22, causing my pelvic pain and associated issues. My scans, however, were clear. The consultant said she could feel 2 on exam. I have seen a private consultant who has disagreed with this and

Does endo cause daily pain even when on desogestrel
I'm struggling with daily pelvic pain since my dignotic lap where endo was found but not removed. I've been on desogestrel pill since November and have no periods but yet have this daily pelvic pain. More specifically does anyone else get more pain in the lower right side of pelvis? Sometimes I have

Cancelled cycle
Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone had experienced a cycle cancellation due to the risk of OHSS. After 8 days of stimulation, I've been told that my cycle had to be cancelled as too many follicles have been developing (29 were seen on the scan) and my estrogen levels were way too high (3,500
