Does anyone relate to sleeplessness related to dreams and nightmares about labor, birth, and PP? I know I probably have PTSD, as I've had a lot of dissociation and derealization since my episode a year ago, but the intrusiveness of the trauma memories and fears is new, as of a couple of weeks ago. Getting close to 2nd baby
Hi everyone So I'm 15 days away from my induction date for baby number 2. I had ppp in 2019 and was treated on MBU. I'm giving birth in the same hospital with MBU in case of reoccurrence of pp. My anxiety has definitely increased in the last week or so, and I'm not currently on any medication. Just

Getting off Zyprexa
Hello everybody! Hope things are well for you all. Thank you for being here and sharing your stories! It is really a precious place to be after surviving PPP. I had my PPP in October last year and since then have been treated with Zyprexa (Olanzapine). I was on 5 mg for 1,5 months, then it was reduced

Living the dream, eventually
Tears, depression,
psychosis
, stiffness, pain and bloomin miserable. For me there is a significant impact of location and situation. Maybe not for others. I can't wait to go back in November. I plan to spend Xmas and New year over there.

You All Are Perfect
But I know I suffer more with Intrusive Imagery/Thoughts and maybe
psychosis
. My mind literally makes up stories of its own based of my phobias and fears. Then I can’t decipher reality from my imagination. It makes me feel so sick as a human. So low !

Sorry to keep going on but I'm really struggling at the moment. Sorry if I've said all this before in earlier posts.
I wanted to reach out to all the ladies who've had more than one episode of
psychosis
or who have continued to be ill long after having the baby.

Mine is Different
I was convinced it was a form of
Psychosis
. I can't talk about it. I don't even want to type or write about it. It's demonic. But it's all thoughts. Obsessive, intrusive thoughts that are so intense they almost have a life. I call it an entity, but logically I know it's just thoughts.

Struggling so much - are these symptoms normal?
I don’t know if any of this is “normal” under
psychosis
or if I’m just now like this. Also, I feel like I’m going through the motions with my baby. I feel so awful about this.

Our Dad's journey
The
psychosis
was treated with medication and after a few months dad was out of hospital. He became increasingly frail over the next two years. He had multiple near misses and some small crashes in the car and eventually had a crash that wrote the car off. Thankfully dad and no one else was hurt.

Hi, Reaching out on here as I'm in recovery from pp. I was in a mother and baby unit over Christmas. Things have got much better thankfully but I still feel low at times and feel like I don't want to look after my children. It's something that I'm deeply ashamed to admit. I did tell my family when

Guess who’s back
When I was discharged 4 days later I began to have manic symptoms which developed into
psychosis
and was admitted into a psychiatric ward. That was 6 months ago and I am still taking olanzapine. I feel totally flattened.

I have had one severe episode of mania when I had
psychosis
3 years ago, a few moderate and a handful mild episodes of mania. Plus, many many other mental health conditions. Although I am generally well and happy on medication.
