My
PSA
started raising again in 2021. I opted for high dose brachytherapy and my
PSA
is 0.1. This year I had difficulty urinating and recently had a procedure similar to a TURP to remove tissue in my urethra near my prostate. This procedure has been successful.

Numb feet
Hi I have
PSa
and get very painful toes and other feet pain. My only question as I take all an sundry pills for all the issues I have is does anyone else get the numbness of their feet? it normally starts at the toes and then works back along the underside of my feet. Its most strange.

PSA
at 6.0. Started taking Taxomere and Lupron treatments.. my
PSA
levels went from 6 to 1 to 0.2. I still have three more treatments to go.. Hope this gives hope to people. The taxomere seems to work fairly well.

Continue on Eclipse Trial or not?
After my 3rd LU 177I&T injection my
PSA
had become nondetectable, and the nuclear bone scans could did not shiw any tumors. Originally had three tumors for spine two very small and one medium. They seem to have disappeared.

3months Post-HD Brachytherapy
Yesterday checked my first
PSA
, 0.8. ( was 7 at treatment). I really enjoyed the experience, crazy as that sounds, due to the doctors, PA, nurses, techs, even the secretaries. They were all so nice & friendly. Can’t recommend them enough.

Clinical Trial Dallas UT Southwestern
I am a low
PSA
emitter and Gleason 9 all 12 cores tested. The point I want to bring up is that she remarked that now she can see why I responded so well to Lu-177. I will post part of her reply to me. This is only FYI ..you can take it anyway you want.

Side effects experienced once you add Zytiga to Orgovyx
It took two and half months after MRI and PSMA PET scan to get his biopsy...
PSA
went up another 7 points in two and a half months. The MO he met within was very neutral and said it was up to my husband.

Abiraterone and food
My husband has been on Abiraterone for 2 months, during which time his
PSA
has doubled. I’ve recently read posts about the advantages of taking Abiraterone with food instead of taking it an hour before eating as recommended.

PSMA PET Scan Question
I heard on a PCa support group call, from a retired MD, that if your
PSA
is below 0.1 a PSMA PET scan isn’t useful because it requires a certain level of the
PSA
to find metastases. Does anyone know if that’s true or is it more of a wives tale or just anecdotal? Thanks!

He lived a wonderful life
We initially learned of his very high
PSA
level on 10/14/2021 (two years prior), with the diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer soon thereafter. In addition to advanced prostate cancer, he had dementia that progressed significantly in his last several months.

SBRT to Prostate and Lymph node ?
There is apparently an increase in
PSA
as seen with the repeat test but the PSMA scan has only detected reduced mets and no new mets. Only the prostate and a lymph node close to it show active uptake , if so what is behind the rise in
PSA
? 2.
