had appointment with Endo today, no surprises there then.
In fact he encouraged me to stop the N.D.T and go back onto the fluoxatine (
prozac
). How I kept my face straight, I do not know. I have been able to come off not only fluoxatine but also statins, metformin and lansoprazole, with no ill effects since starting on N.D.T.

Chicken or the egg? I've always struggled with some depression/anxiety but I have never been physically ill like this before. Why now?
I was on
Prozac
a few years back when my husband was deployed to Afghanistan but took myself off and replaced it with exercise. This new me doesn't feel like me. I want the old me back. But when I really think about, I can look back on my life and see I have always struggled.

Has anyone tried Vitalcalm for restless legs?
My GP has just prescribed fluoxetine for menopausal hot flushes which I now realise is
Prozac
. I found that it may exacerbate RLS which she knows I suffer from! While researching this I came across Vitalcalm which though expensive seems to have some good reviews.

Levothyroxine and weight loss.
I only found out now, because I was on
prozac
for half a year, and I always assumed this would have been the cause... Anyway, now I started taking 25mcg which is very little, but enough at the moment I suppose to help my levels to go back to normal.

I don't know what to do next!
No drugs seem to work, despite being on a concoction of Dihydrocodeine, Paracetamol, and Ibuprofen (Unfortunately I'm on
Prozac
so I can't take stronger NSAIDs).

Fluoxetine ,will sleep disturbance settle down? I like my sleep!!!
I'm thinking about cutting back on dose as I seem to have lost the ''off-switch'' at nights after being on
prozac
for a couple of months. Not sure about using sleeping tablets yet, won't they stop the anti-depression meds from working so well?

Has anyone tried antidepressants for psp?
Our GP suggests trying something like
Prozac
, since, he says, sometimes that helps stroke victims regain motor function and we've tried everything else to no effect - and perhaps my sweetheart could use some antidepressant treatment anyway.

First Time Poster
My first experience of this crippling illness started when my sister died of a brain tumor in 1994, and I found out I was expecting my first child - I was prescribed
Prozac
, a drug which I hated taking, as it made me feel nothing - I just didn't care about anything or anyone, it ruined my relationship

Rls and Prozac
My gp prescribed citalopram to supplement my
Prozac
. My rls has reached new heights. I now have it in my hands also, I cannot sit still during my worst periods of it and sleep is just impossible. I have begun to dread bedtime, so much so that I have stopped the new medication.

7 weeks into Sertraline :)
14 years on 20 mg
Prozac
and now a swap to 50 mg Sertraline as I already mentioned. Just a quick update for anyone who may find this helpful. My side effects are minimal, libido better, anxiety reduced, sleeping improved, general daily feeling of doom and being on edge has subsided somewhat!
