Buzzing, Tingling Static
Hi Struggling a bit at the moment and desperate for health and advice. I have just joined here and am fairly new to T after 4 months. It did not seem so bad to begin with. A buzzing around my ears and a kind of engine sound, that somehow seemed to be above me at times. However it has got a lot worse

Endometriosis abs migraine
I have stage 4 rectovaginal endometriosis. I have a Mirena coil in which massively helps as no longer having periods however I have issues with migraine. They are constant and affect my balance. I take Nortriptyline to help but I believe the constant hormonal fluctuations from perimenopause are aggravating

Pregabalin or gabapentin with ILD?
Does anyone have experience of taking pregabalin or gabapentin for fibromyalgia if they have SSc with interstitial lung disease? My doctor has just mentioned these as fibromyalgia meds but there are warnings about lung depression if you already have a condition. Just trying to weigh up the risks as have

Has anyone tried Nortriptyline or Amitriptyline?
24 years with this condition and I am close to rock bottom. The last 5 or so years, since hitting my mid 40’s have been awful with virtually daily symptoms. The last two years have been so bad. In 2019 I had a colonoscopy, a gastroscope, several ultra sound scans and a ct scan. Nothing picked up, which

Benefits of nortriptyline
Hello - my physio thinks I have chronic pain syndrome following extensive foot surgery. I have tried amitriptyline, and now trying nortriptyline as recommended by the GP as he says that the side effects will be less. The physio has suggested pregabalin but I am reluctant to take it. Has anyone taken

Slow Transit pain and possible Nortriptyline success
So I have bitten the bullet and now taking low dose Nortriptyline as recommended by my Gastro to help with the pain and spasms I get with my colonic inertia (slow transit) that effects the left section of my colon. I had been putting this med off for months because of fear and I'm not one who likes to

Has anyone tried Nortriptyline?
After 23 years of IBS with the last 4 years being virtually daily I am at the end of my rope. I have tried absolutely everything recommended for this awful complaint and nothing has helped. I really need to do something as I live in constant fear I have something serious (despite a clear colonoscopy

Side effects of nortriptyline
My gp prescribed me 25mg of nortriptyline for pain which I’ve been taking for 4 nights, today I’ve been getting quite breathless on and off all day . I’ve got a flu type virus that I’ve had for around a month that comes and goes which has started up again so that’s not helping but I’m a bit concerned

Nortriptyline & Levothyroxine - anyone taking this combo?
Hi, I'm on Levo as a trial and have just added Nortriptyline in (starting dose of 30mg). It says in the instructions to ask your doc before combining these but I don't want to go through that faff. Anyone using both these drugs and know what they do to each other? I'm not interested in adjusting them

Pain relief
Just been prescribed nortriptyline for pain due to nerve pain that is causing headaches and such , has anyone used these and and are they good at relieving the pain or is it another tablet to make you feel weird and funky. Can honestly say I’m now a nervous paranoid wreck after going through encephalitis

Nortriptyline
Hi everyone just wondering how long side effects last when starting this medication? I started nortriptyline 4 days ago and I’m feeling really light headed dizzy not really “there” as such. It’s such a horrible feeling! Please tell me if this is a normal “adjusting” period and how long I’m in for or
