Hi Teresaq, it is an older antidepressant that has had much success with thesymptoms you are having. Please trust in your doctor as he knows your health

history. We don't know the relief that may be waiting for you unless you try it.

Good Luck. Hope this helps you feel better. :) xx

It's my Go To antidepressant/Sleep aid. Takes couple of weeks to feel the benefit, but It works for me, when I need it.

Hi thanks you for feed back. I dont know what I'm dealing with not really migraine, but I sway as if I'm on a boat more so laying down. Very draining.

If you balance is out, it could also be partly a middle or inner ear problem. See your doctor.

I was prescribed nortriptyline a fee months back for nerve pain. Whilst it didn't help the nerve by the 3rd or 4th week I noticed my mood improved, I was having fewer negative thoughts cycling in my head and my sleep improved massively. If you've never taken anything similar you will likely feel side effects to begin with. But they should improve over time.

I have literally just got off the phone to my GP who is going to prescribe it for my mood.

I even found myself smoking less naturally. I've read it can help with smoking cessation.

Good luck, I hope it helps.
