Prostap injections are they the same same as having a Hysterectomy????

Hi ,

I am currently on prostap injections I have been since feb, think I am on my 6th injection. I tried the 3 month and the 1 month injection and the 1 month is less side effects for me . The question is are prostap injections the same as having a full Hysterectomy? My gyno says it is and if I am not happy on the injections then she is worried about me having a hysterectomy Surely prostap must be worse because it is not a natural process. I am on hrt patches now also and that has eased some of side effects of prostap. Would like some guidance from some one who has been on prostap and then had there ,Hysterectomy how do you feel now ?? Thanks
