Trying to find a solution for my never ending hair loss . After reaserching this morning I’ve found the above fir hair loss . My question to all you knowledgable folks on HU is will this product be detrimental for T3 only users ? I presume this product contains seaweed - just a wild guess Thanks 😊

Sudden and dramatic hair loss
I am 59 and have been treated for hypothyroidism. In the last month I have lost 80% of my hair. Blood tests all ok but having to wait for dermatologist appointment. I lost it from the sides and top and at first thought it was FFA because of the behind ear across the top and down to behind other ear baldness

Hair loss and high T3
Hello everyone It’s been a while since I posted and I hope you are doing as well as can be-given the circumstances. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen high T3 and hair loss reported by other members of this forum. I’ve been experiencing quite a lot of hair loss over the last couple of months and I assumed

Hashimoto's and Alopecia Areata
Hi, so I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's for almost 3 years now, I take 125mg of Levothyroxine. But over the past year and a half I have now been suffering from Alopecia Areata, 4 bald patches in total. I am concerned it is linked to my thyroid, but my doctors just said it was due to stress. Unfortunately

Latest finger prick test
Latest result from MMH; 19.2 pmol/L FT4 levels normal (normal range 12 - 22 pmol/L) 9 pmol/L FT3 levels high (normal range 3.1 - 6.8 pmol/L) Same TSH as in November i.e 0.01 when I was taking 2 x IV metavive & 25mcg Tiromel. This last test I had cut down to 18.5 mcg Metavive & yet showed higher FT3

Burning and tingling through out body and chest/lung area?
Hello, I may have asked this before, sorry, or it may have been my Lyme group, I have horrible burning sensations and all over bone and muscle pain when I’m having a flare. I have been under lots of stress, caring for a brother who is actively dying from cancer, cold weather, and just seeing my horses

I’m pretty sure this doesn’t contain Biotin but just don’t want to mess up!

I can't get rid of anxiety, other than antidepressants(ssri) ??? I've been on cipralex for a while and I don't want to go back on it, it has too many side effects. Although I take t3 and levo but I still have anxiety and visual disturbance. t3 helped me a lot but I don't get rid of anxiety. My doctor

Stopping meds due to hair loss.
Having taken 125mg Levo for a year or so I noticed my hair was thinning at an alarming rate. So I just stopped taking it! I never felt much better while taking meds or not, so am I really doing the wrong thing by stopping altogether? Doctor unable to do blood tests at the moment due to Covid-19. Any

Iron supplementation - ferric EDTA
I’ve started researching which form of Iron is best to take but would appreciate anyone who is able to forward any studies they’ve come across. Anything I’ve started to read has allowed no further access to information. Wanting to try the Better You Iron 10 spray (contains ferric EDTA) as tablets

RED LIGHT THERAPY aka Photobiomodulation"?
Does anyone have any experience with something called "RED LIGHT THERAPY aka Photobiomodulation"? I was thinking of having a group of sessions as thee clinic states that it is very helpful for chronic pain. As with everything else I have experienced, it does not come cheap, so just curious if anybody

Food insensitivity results...how to interpret the results?!?!
A new doctor recently ordered extensive testing as he suspected food sensitivities to be the reason why my body does not use thyroid hormone at cellular level (as shown by a 24 h urine analysis). I have just received nine pages of results covering over 300 foods, and those above range (>7.5 U/mL) are

Armour hair loss
Has anyone experienced hair loss on Armour. I was optimal tor four months but still felt hypo but all my hair fell out. Now on t3 only getting optimal, panicking it will not grow back. Iron and all other vits are optimal it’s really just the Armour which apparently is a common side effect. Thanks

Biotin - is 6 days long enough?
I totally forgot about a blood test I had coming up. It's tomorrow morning. I've been sporadic on taking my b vits this month taken a grand total of 8 times this month. 🤦🏻♀️Typically 2 of those times were 23rd & 24th which will be 6 days gap between taking biotin and having bloods drawn. Is that

Hair Loss
Having lost my hair once to methotrexate and regained it following change of dosage I’m now losing it again due to stress (or call it Covid-19!) It’s now really thinned and I just wondered if there’s a point when the shedding stops in anyone’s experience? Friends keep telling me to get my hair cut to

Alopecia Areata & Mercury
Hello. I am new here and never joined an alopecia forum so this is all new to me. I am 26 years old and had alopecia areata for 12 years. My hair loss has never been that excessive and i’ve always managed to hide it well. I’ve had cortisol injections in the past but haven’t had any treatment for around
