Sudden and dramatic hair loss

I am 59 and have been treated for hypothyroidism. In the last month I have lost 80% of my hair. Blood tests all ok but having to wait for dermatologist appointment. I lost it from the sides and top and at first thought it was FFA because of the behind ear across the top and down to behind other ear baldness. But I’m now losing from the crown and only have thinning hair in a solid portion at the back of my head. Last year was stressful as I had to give up work to provide care for frail elderly mother. Husband has poor health too. I am interested to connect to others who have experienced similar
