High prolactin... prolactinoma?
Hi, I have just received my latest blood results and my prolactin is almost double the "normal" limit. My free T4 seems to be in range and I have a vitamin D and folate deficiency. My prolactin has been elevated for four years with an absence of periods and milk from the breasts (no pregnancies). My

"Provisional" blood test status?
Hi, I am writing here as a last resort from trying to find out what on earth this means. I even scoured though ICE system user manuals and guides. I recently had some blood tests done; bone profile following vit D supplements to treat a deficiency, prolactin and free T4. I am registered with the GP

Anxiety vs low B12 - interesting Doctor consultation
So I just had another appointment with a different GP. It was a very difficult consultation. I gave him my notes on medical history, symptoms and info on B12 deficiency. He scanned it and then went through all of my bloods, saying they were normal. He said something very derogative about the place

Do I need Thyroxine
Hi I'm almost 65. I started to have headaches & lethargy about 6 years ago. In July 2015 I had a small benign pituitary tumour removed. The Neurosurgeon didn't believe that was the cause of my headaches & he was right. 12 months ago I went gluten free & high protein which has helped & my excess weight

Thyroid test results - Do these look normal ?
In brief: been suffering from CFS for over 15+ months. Most symptoms have subsided except the muscle soreness in my thighs, general energy levels from shoulder muscles etc. Vitamins and magnesium definitely help, but my main improvement was made by changing to a Paleo /ketogenic diet + detoxing for

Help!!
I need help... First of all, I'm in the US, so I understand things are a little different. But my questions will pretty much be universal. So, I went to my obgyn Monday and he ordered tests to check LH, FSH, and prolactin levels... basically, the LH:FSH ratio is a little over 3:1. I haven't had a period
