THYROID TEST RESULTS - HELP PLEASE
Hello everyone, I finally got my Thyroid Check UltraVit Blood Test results back... I had a few other tests, just to set my mind at rest, so it took a lot longer to afford than hoped. Also, there was an issue with one of the tests coming back as invalid and the need for it to be taken again. So I have

A New Year, What Developments are you Hopeful About?
So I am still new, and there is literally a blizzard of new terms i am trying to get my head around. For the guys that have been at this a while, whats on the horizon that gives you hope and why? For me this paper that shows the reduction of prolactin seems to have an effect on castrate resistant PCa

Prolactin and Hormone Independent PCa
Very interesting study here. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6578577/?fbclid=IwAR3GVj7LqOti1R I sent it to Ed Friedman as well and he was very intrigued by it. Trying a readily available and cheap Cabergoline seems like a no brainer if the PCa has become hormone independent.

Results are in - T3/T4. Does anyone know what the lower ranges for serum ACTH and DHEA are? My area uses 0 so I’m ‘normal’ apparently
Hi lovely people. After my dire saliva cortisol results, my private endo requested some blood tests. But they look like they are pretty much normal? The only thing is, the ranges for ACTH and DHEA start at zero, which I thought was weird. Also, I wouldn’t have tested my TSH, FT3 and FT4 yet as I’ve been

New and struggling to get diagnosed (central hypo?)
I've been presenting to my GP and local hospital with chronic exhaustion, weight gain, low mood and muscle pains (severe enough to have me using a walking stick any time I know I'm going to be on my feet for more than 30 mins solid or walking uphill/upstairs) since May. In July I had a whole-head MRI

Tinitus and high prolactin
I have been suffering with Tinitus for nearly years and recently have been under a endocrine doctor due to very high prolactin levels in my blood. I am now just waiting for a head MRI scan to check on the pituitary gland this could possibly be the cause of my high anxiety and tinitus. Has anyone else

Endocrinologist referral times?
Hi All, My Dr has referred me to an endocrinologist and asked them to provide advice before I get the appointment. He confirmed he would do this last Friday, but I've not heard anything yet (I realise I'm being very impatient). Does anyone know how long it's likely to take for a refferal…? I'm taking

High prolactin
Back again 😩 Hi all again. Thank you so much for all your informative help over the last month or so. I decided to pay for some bloods with medi check. I focussed more on hormonal as well as some thyroid as my period has changed significantly and I began getting night sweats alongside everything else

Hi, I've been feeling very unwell recently with bad fatigue, headaches, swollen and sore feet. I've had thrush 3 times in the last month too. I've been on NDT (Erfa) for 8 weeks now (starting on 30mg and increased recently to 45mg) along with 25mg Levothyroxine. Before this, I was on 50mg Levothyroxine

Central hypo - LH, FSH testosterone, estradiol and cortisol levels
Hi everyone! I am currently nearly a week into being treated for the suspected secondary hypothyroidism and today got the letter my endo sent to the doctors about his plan for treatment. He performed a huge amount of tests aside the thyroid ones and said they were normal. I trust him but I just wondered

Has anyone had experience with high levels of prolactin?
Hi all, I am new to this! My husband and I have been TTC naturally for 4 years and have finally gone down the route of investigations. My husband has low sperm count and motility so we know that’s an issue but I have now been diagnosed with high levels of prolactin. I have been told I have to get this
