Prolactin levels high - I'm freaked out
Hi, I'm 23 and was diagnosed with PCOS aged 20. I spent a couple of years trying various pills to aid symptoms of dark excess hair, mood swings and irregular periods but for the past year have been pill free. After getting sick of symptoms I just had some blood tests re-done and had a docs appt today

Sleeping patterns and time of TSH test
So just to give some context, my story is that I have almost all of the hypothyroid symptoms and have had blood work done which confirms a suspect pattern also associated with hypothyroid but a visit to the GP has revealed that in fact, I am perfectly healthy. No follow up in investigation needed. High

Hi everyone - I've received my Medichecks results back but was a little surprised that all my thyroid levels are in range. I had quite a long list of results which I'll post below (thyroid first) in the hopes that someone may share their thoughts with me. (edited to add - I have a fibromyalgia diagnosis

Changing body and symptoms at 30 years old
Hello I'm new on here - just wanted to share my experience thus far, partly for myself but also for anyone who may have been through similar cascade of symptoms and dealing with a changing body. If anyone has tips or advice to share I would appreciate it too. Throughout my 20's I had noticed my period

Has anyone else felt like this after postpartum psycosis? It happened 3 years ago..
Hey all.. I had postpartum psycosis in March 2016. After the birth of my 3rd daughter and I've been on medication since, I started off on rispiridone and was on that until October last year, they changed it to aripiprozole cause of too much prolactin in my body. I had a slight relapse while I changed

Underactive Thyroid and Prolactin Levels
Hi does anyone know why Hashimoto's thyroiditis may cause high levels of prolactin? I have symptoms of high levels and GP is going to be testing for this together with other relevant blood tests. I am concerned that I may have a problem with the pituitary gland and if this is the case could my TSH levels
