IVF success at fifth transfer - over 40
I’ve learnt not to think too much into them as most are caused by
progesterone
. What was new this time is that my nipples looked different. I was dreading test day (today!) but for the first time ever, I saw the double lines - I am pregnant!

surgical menopause
What are your thoughts on including
progesterone
in your hrt regime if you are in surgical menopause and previously had severe endo? My hysterectomy included endo excision by an endo specialist. Is it necessary?

Help! cascade of hormonal events after Covid booster! Not sure where to turn next…
The question is is this lowering
progesterone
or too low oestrogen? I’ve heard too high can make anxiety worse so I’m nervous about trying it. Why don’t they do blood tests?! One day I feel not too bad and things like reflexology and acupuncture seem to balance me, but it’s only temporary.

Post-lap medical suggestions
I was given a couple of options - take norethisterone alongside the current pill (yasmin) I'm on, stop yasmin and go on a
progesterone
only pill, or just take norethisterone. I was rather thrown by my GP - I didn't know how much to push back.

Do I need to stop taking estrogen? Feel as if I'm choosing between mental and physical health.
So, I am currently taking HRT estrogen gel and
progesterone
tablets. I feel good on HRT. I don't cry anymore and mentally I'm much better but my body doesn't seem to like the estrogen. Should I STOP taking the HRT?

Does anyone know if you can take eltroxin along with progesterone and estradot patches / vagifem
I’m on thyroid meds /-eltroxin .I take these in the morning on an empty stomach I’m going on the above HRT meds . Shall I take them in the evening after food ? Eltroxin states on the leaflet that HRT may Interact ? Pharmacist says there should be no interaction ? Maybe I should get my bloods done

Progesterone blood test
Hi all, I am having FET in Spain and they want me to do a
progesterone
test and send results on the same day. I am currently in Liverpool and nowhere says they do same day results. Has anyone got any suggestions about where I could go?

HRT and diarrhoea
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this gut issue after starting
progesterone
? I am not usually sensitive to medications and there doesn’t appear to be anything in it which rings alarm bells for me.

Missed Lubion injection
I’m now panicking that I will miss a 2nd Lubion injection and i’m not sure that substituting with a pessary is the right thing to do (although better to have some
progesterone
than none, surely).

Questions regarding an oestrogen cream (Ovestin) and its effect specifically on hypothyroidism but also in general
I’ve managed with a yam based
progesterone
oil, which is somewhat helpful, but I can’t help but think I could possibly feel so much better with some HRT help.

5th failed FET - dont know what to do next
I am on baby asprin, steroids and
progesterone
for support. We are taking serious strain on this journey and feeling mad just doing the same thing expecting a different result. I am 40 years old, and getting a euploid every cycle.

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
I had a biopsy (clear), a transvaginal ultrasound which showed 23mm deep endometrium with striations even after
progesterone
treatment to reduce it and a 15mm polyp, then a hysteroscopy (confirmed polyp and adenomyosis) and polypectomy (successful).

HCG/ progesterone levels
First was 183 HCG and 117
progesterone
. Todays was 484 HCG but 98.3
progesterone
. I know I’m probably worrying over nothing as my clinic seem happy with these results but once again looking for reassurance that these numbers are ok? I’m having my third (and hopefully final) beta on Friday.

Progesterone levels
I am currently taking
progesterone
pessaries and intramuscular (every other day) and I was wondering… how often did your clinic check your
progesterone
levels after transfer? I got my levels checked on the transfer day and everything was fine but that was it.

Mini pill causes acid reflux/gastritis?
I've been on the
progesterone
only mini pill (desogestrel) for 18 months now to help with endometriosis pains before I have surgery (hopefully early next year). 2 months after taking it, I noticed I was getting recurring acid reflux, lots of burping, and a bloated gurgling stomach so went to the GP and

Progynova/possible ovulation & FET timing questions
At my scan earlier initial my nurse said about maybe starting the
progesterone
on Sunday with the aim to do a transfer on Thursday or that it could be pushed a little later as the clinic likes you to have 11 days of progynova before starting pessaries and that no further scans would be needed.

Gonapeptyl
I had a Gonapeptyl injection for down regulation over 10 weeks ago now, we had a fresh transfer which unfortunately didn’t work, so I stopped taking
progesterone
on April 7th and had my withdrawal bleed a few days after that.

I’m just worried my
progesterone
level might drop and they weren’t keen on re-testing.. said I’ve got to speak with Dr on Friday when I have the transfer.
