it goes on
It goes on and I want it to all stop. After crying for two days, I sit on the edge of my bed, begging and pleading for my heart to just stop. Yesterday I took 3mg of Lorazepam, and two shots of whisky and slept for 18 hours but sadly I woke up, I have the same plan for today. I'm not in pain when I am

Looking for anxiety and benzo withdrawal support
Hi, I've had an occasional-use Alprazolam (Xanax) prescription for 10 or 20 years, and never had a problem with it (used it once every few months), but during recent travel I unintentionally become somewhat dependent on it, which triggered anxiety and panic. Alternative to alcohol?
Hi all, New member, had TBI from woodland cycling accident in 2017 with subarachnoid haemorrhage to right frontoparietal region. Hospital for two weeks until amnesia subsided, then off work for three months with gradual return and mostly working as I was before, but from home and generally try to

Modafanil experiences?
Hi all. I am hoping to hear from people who have taken modafanil (Provigil) or armodafanil (Artvigil) for profound daytime sleepiness and fatigue associated with RLS. I am at the end of my options for RLS having taken pretty much everything except dipyridamole with limited success and I continue to

Help with Folate
I am now having B12 injections. I ordered Folate that SlowDragon said. It says do not take with anti epileptic tablets, which I take for neuropathy. I also need a B complex and Ferritin. I also take Zopiclone (sleeping tablet), Diazepam (Valium) and I think these supplements interact with these drugs

Angiogram results
Hello, everyone. I hope you are all. I haven't posted on the BHF page for a while, but I have been following posts on here. I had an angiogram on Monday, 24th July. I was very nervous, but the team at the Cardiac Cebtre was brilliant and very understanding. The actual procedure was nothing like

Think I can share my success story now
I want to preface this by saying that I do not intend to minimise or downplay others’ suffering. There are lots of people on here with cases far worse than mine is and I am all too aware of this. Also what worked for me may potentially not help you at all or in a worst case scenario make your own tinnitus

Couple of months ago I decided to move my 10mcg T3 away from my usual morning waking time, basically to see if it helped my awful morning anxiety. I also dropped my T4 dose from 125mcg (which I have been on for many years and it usually sits at a normal place within the range) down to 100mcg as on my

Do medication stop dystonia muscle attacks?
Just wondering if medication like diazepam works for dystonia caused by fnd? Or does it not work for dystonia caused by fnd. Wondering because I know the meds for epileptic seizures don't work for non epileptic seizures

I’m still on 100mg of Sertraline with the occasional diazepam as and when needed during anxiety spikes. I was able to meet up with work friends despite waking up with anxiety so intense I was throwing up. It brought it right down and I barely thought about my tinnitus whilst there despite the fact I

Major Setback (Tinnitus Anxiety)
I was just here posting about how Sertraline was helping me to manage my anxiety and slowly be able to try and habituate to my new chemo heightened tinnitus. cortisol and adrenaline - stress system seems broken - exaggerated response to normal stress
My thyroid blood tests are normal, so I don’t have a thyroid condition - though I don’t know what I do have, as I had de Quervain’s thyroiditis eight years ago, and I haven’t been the same since. My recent blood test showed normal cortisol too. That’s if you say that my 3pm finger prick is a morning

Anxiety & urine problems
I’ve posted a few times on this wonderful forum about problems with stress & anxiety. A question I’ve never asked concerns bladder Incontinence. When I took diazepam, I had no problems. However recently I’ve found that if I wake up in the morning & the toilet is being used, I panic & rush to go downstairs

Me again, I think my anxiety about my thyroid is hitting hard
I’m getting so overwhelmed and confused to be honest about how to be treated properly like with my medication. Like I take. 125mg Levo in morning. 10mg citalopram (now changing to vortioxetine for my anxiety and depression) 20mg Omeprazole ( I take this always after 4 hours from levo) 225mg pregablin
