Fna done

More of an update really if it helps anyone going through a similar experience, I went to see an ent consultant about a goitre at the beginning of june, and I went for an fna two weeks after this appointment, I thought it was going to be 6 weeks so must have got lucky! At the fna appointment firstly I had quite a thorough ultrasound done again before the sample was taken, the radiologist then advised (possibly the sonographer) where to take the cells from. He struggled because my goitre is steep apparently and it kept moving to other side..strange! It is retrosternal so probably not the easiest! Now the wait for results! I have a barium swallow test on Wednesday this week so I imagine I will probably have all my results given at an ent appointment in afew weeks. Hopefully itll be all clear and I can move on lol

Thank you! Me too lol. One of the sonographers said 7 to 10 days unless they needed to see me sooner, but as I have a barium test on wed I imagine it will be afew weeks!
