Hysteroscopy still on hold?
Hi all, I have a small
polyp
and was waiting for a hysteroscopy prior to lockdown. I'm still on the waiting list as my NHS clinic still hasn't restarted hysteroscopies yet.

Hysteroscopy - Polyp removal
I've just had my hysteroscopy done and I'm so upset as the doctor only removed polyps and didnt do a scratch. He said my lining was ok but the procedure felt very rushed and he literally took 30 secs to remove the polyps. I should have asked at the end but I was in alot of pain. He also said my womb

New to IVF. What about my career?
My diagnosis is “you’re 38 years old with 2 tubes that are “filling but not spilling and a
polyp
. Time to seek IVF and fast”. So the journey begins. I’m worried about work. I have a corporate job with lots of responsibility.

Please help interprete - Fibriods
There is no definite endometrial
polyp
that there is marked endometrial thickening measuring approximately 16mm. There is a lower body anterior intramural/submucous fibroid approximately 17mm and bulging into the endometrial cavity by about 20-30%.

Does anyone else get period pain 10 days before period starts?
I’ve been for a pelvic ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound and they found an endometrial
polyp
8mm, which I’m hopefully having removed next week.

One step closer.... 🤞🏻
This is after it was nearly put on hold again because of a
polyp
found in my smear test last week, my clinic called me in on Friday morning though and removed it so all is good and we can proceed!

Laparoscopy results...not good for me. Endo found
I was meant to have a
polyp
removed but strangely wasn’t there. They explained that depending on when you have a scan in the cycle there can be an appearance of
polyp
and so wasn’t there yesterday. Luckily I have a scan that proves there was something there when I had it done in Feb.

Egg retrieval done now waiting for a routine op... when will they be back up and running!?
(Anyone that’s followed my story will know this is a big change for me as last two cycles I’ve only had 1 blasto transferred and nothing to freeze) We had to have a freeze all option as they found a suspected
polyp
in my lining.

Odds of IVF working after 40 (currently on 2 wk wait in Leeds)
I was originally referred for IVF in April 19, so it's been a long wait - complicated by COVID & a
polyp
(tiny, but still there). All tests have shown good fertility so far and I get a decent number of follicles each month on the scans (~10 per side and last month even ovulated from both sides).

FET going ahead with 5mm polyp
Everything was fine apart from that they found a very small
polyp
in my lining. The nurse phoned earlier to explain that having spoken to the consultant that they are not concerned about the
polyp
it's only 5mm and doesn't see any reason why my cycle can't go ahead.

Blood in stool one time - puzzled
I had a gastroscopy (again historical reasons) back in Feb 2019, with a clean bill of health apart from one small
polyp
which they removed.

Umbilicus inflamed after lap
I have had a swab to test for bacteria which was negative, I had a small
polyp
on the tip of it removed at about 8 weeks which was benign and just showed healthy healing tissue. 8 weeks ago my surgeon sent in a referral for an mri and the radiologist at the hospital said I need a ct and it’s not urgent

New here and preping for TTC
I am also waiting for surgery to remove a
polyp
and do a hysteroscopy. I also have endometriosis, cysts and fibroids. A bit of a mess down there. Anyways, I’m trying to lose weight because I was just at 30.1 BMI and a level one obese, I am on 27 BMI at the moment. I’m vegan and cook from scratch.

Pain and bloating after a Trans Vaginal Ultrasound
I had a routine internal ultrasound on Wed where she spotted a
polyp
in my uterus and a 2cm cyst on my ovary. I have had no symptoms the past year although I do a get a period each month on this pill which is painful but not in the way it used to be prior to the pill.

Scared that another hold up is on the horizon.
My first IVF cycle 3 years ago left me with a uterine
polyp
. After much inaction by consultants I arranged referral myself through my GP and the
polyp
was removed and biospsied.

Surgery cancelled
Mine for a Laparoscopy and
polyp
removal booked for May was cancelled yesterday. I understand but had a little cry. I was lucky enough to get this booked so soon anyway.
