New here and preping for TTC

Hello everyone,

I’m new here. A big air hug for everyone.

I’m prepping to TTC. My AMH is low for my age so I’m aware that it may take time. I am also waiting for surgery to remove a polyp and do a hysteroscopy. I also have endometriosis, cysts and fibroids. A bit of a mess down there.

Anyways, I’m trying to lose weight because I was just at 30.1 BMI and a level one obese, I am on 27 BMI at the moment. I’m vegan and cook from scratch. I eat fairly healthy but still gain weight. I exercise but I’m not consistent because of the endometriosis pain and mood issues. I want to at least hit 24.9 when we start TTC. We’re starting in August so I have time to prep and take vitamins etc.

I’d love your advice on supplements, losing weight, what to watch out in a vegan diet during TTC, etc.

Hi happyseal. Just hope someone can jump on with some vegan advice - fingers crossed. With regards to your weight, you've done so well, so try not to worry too much about it, although saying that, I'm sure you will get to your goal. Good luck! Diane

Well, I’m waiting for things to normalise to get a date for hysteroscopy and some more appointments. So far the GP hasn’t advised anything beside waiting. The fertility doctor did say that losing weight would be good. But that’s about it so far.
