Endometrial cancer despite regular periods
I would like others to be more aware of the risk of endometrial cancer for women with PCOS - I am 37 and I have just been diagnosed with this disease (endometrial adenocarcinoma Grade 1) - an endometrial
polyp
proved to be cancerous after
removal
(through hysteroscopy).

Vitamin D
Hi, back in August my Vitamin D was very low, 42 ( i can't remember the ranges). I was advised to take a supplement but was never told how much so I guessed at 5000iu per day. This helped for a little while, but I now feel rubbish again with the same symptoms - fatigue, no energy - could it be I'm not

Large Polyp - Any idea on waiting times for removal? What are your experiences?
What are peoples experiences in relation to timescales for
polyp
removal
after being scanned? I can't seem to find anything on the NHS websites at all. Many thanks Becky

Feeling unsure
Results came back fine, but the two periods I had since the
polyp
removal
had been the worst ones of my live. If had made me really sad and I hopeful of ever being free of this pain.

7 months post op - HRT
Hi everyone. I had a TLH +BSO back in march for endometriosis, and also had excision from my bowel/bladder/ureter at the same time. I had 9 weeks on prostap without HRT prior to the surgery, then 13 weeks post op with no HRT before being started on tibolone which I have now been taking for just over

Gallbladder nausea and anxiety
Hi everyone, Just wanted to know if any of you had gallbladder removal surgery? What were your symptoms before having it out? I've been feeling terribly sick for the last 2 weeks sometimes having to make myself sick? I've been told I've got polyps in the gallbladder and might need it removing. This

One week after TT and lymph node removal
Well here I am on the other side of my surgery, 5 months from seeing my Gp about my swollen lymph nodes. A six hour op waved goodbye to my Thyroid and all the anterior lymph nodes on the right side. Now swollen and sore, black and blue with a wound starting behind my right ear and finishing at my left

Hi I'm new to this group
I had to have an emergency gallbladder removal last September. At that time the surgeon did not like the looks of my liver and had done a biopsy. I already knew I had fatty liver and the biopsy proved correct. I have since then had gastric bypass surgery to help me lose weight and hopefully help with

Worsening pain- causes?
I'm looking for some advice....I had a saplingo oophorectomy? in March of this year. As I had my ovaries removed I've been taking Estelle HRT as suggested by my GP. My periods are still super heavy and my endo pain has dramatically increased. My GP said that the only way to cure the pain, is to stop

Egg extraction before ovariectomy?
Hello! I have various cysts and lesions. My biggest cyst is 7cm on my left ovary. The specialist (GYN-OB and surgeon) has recommended a laparoscopy, one where I don't know what I'll be coming out with - he will try to preserve the ovary but he may have to take it out along with the Fallopian tube. I

First post here, advice regarding operation needed!
Hello! So I completely C25K a couple of weeks ago and am doing between 5-6K 3x a week still, but my question is Saturday I am going in for my gallbladder removal surgery - anyone had an op during this time? Any advice on how to build back up when ready? I'm terrified of being back where I started! Thanks
