Gallbladder removal
I'm new to HealthUnlocked & there doesn't seem to be a community for gallbladder issues. I've had some bad gallstone attacks over the last few years, though only one since August 2018 (which was a really bad one). I've been advised to have my gallbladder removed & that's the only treatment being offered

This has been going on for 3 years now - a year after my surgical menopause. I do believe this is a major cause of my anxiety - I hate them! I have tried HRT (several types) but it makes me feel worse with mood swings and a racing heart. When they happen, I get a horrible surge of anxiety, feel sick

Is it back...again?! Really struggling to find the strength to deal with this ðŸ˜
I’m just wondering if it is possible to get endometriosis again if you’ve had a hysterectomy and your ovaries removed? I’m on HRT because I’m only 30 and I was told there would be health risks if I didn’t have an oestrogen replacement. Can endometriosis grow/return because of the HRT? In the last few

Feel lost - need advice on treatment given that pain is back less than two years after laparoscopy. How many laps is 'normal'?
I am 39 and was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2017. After years of telling doctors my period pains matched the symptoms for endo but being told it couldn't be, I finally was ill enough to find a surgeon privately. He was so certain I had endo that he didn't do a diagnostic laparoscopy and went straight

Help?!
Hi everyone.. I’m so pleased I found this group it has giving me hope for my mum. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer to left breast and lymph nodes. After weeks of tests, scans and appointments it was confirmed it has spread to her T9 vertebrae in her spine. Although they confirmed it was a

Ovary removal and more....
Morning everyone Just after advice. Just over 3 weeks ago I had a lap to remove both ovarie and tubes. They also removed nodules from belly button and pouch of douglas and separated organs that were attached because of endo. I was told by nurse that as it was a lap it would only take 2 weeks to get

Single Oophorectomy in February, no follow up
I had my right ovary and tube removed in February and the doctor came to see me as I was coming out of the anesthetic, said everything went well and lookedgood. That was the last I heard from the doctor, no follow up appointment, not even a phone call. I had the procedure because I had been suffering

How much patience do we need?!
This will be my third
polyp
removal
and the process will be about 3-4 months until I can have FET. I’m so disappointed. I’m trying to see the next couple of months not as another terrifying delay but as a ‘break’ for me.

Unilateral oophorectomy recovery, really need some advice!
Cut a long story short, ive had numerous laps for endometrosis and was also diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome few years back. Last year i had a total hysterectomy leaving my ovaries but i had a ovarian vein embolization to relieve pelvic pain. With persistent cycle symptoms it was decided that

No endometrosis found
It's the 2nd
polyp
removal
in a 12 month period. The surgeon said he could not find any endometriosis. He found fibroids, polyps and a lot of scar tissue he removed polyps and fibroids and 95% of the scar tissue. It's been almost 3 months and there's no change.

Carboplatin and Taxol - very scared!
Hi, soon I am supposed to start my chemo but I am extremely scared. Some people say it's unbearable, some say it's not that bad. Just trying to figure out some pattern there! Not so bothered about losing my hair but extremely scared of neuropathy as it obviously might never go away. I am a musician and

Low TSH
I have a low TSH and low T4. (TSH hovers around 0.2) I’ve been on 75mcg Thyroxine for 20 years. My blood levels continue to go down but GPs have been instructed to only consider the TSH and not T4 therefore when I have my bloods done and go to my GP they are keen to reduce the dose. I tried this once
