Ovacome Members Series session: 'Our first year after diagnosis' - Monday 7th April

Good morning all,

Next Monday 7th April from 1:00-2:00pm will be the next session in our Members Series. Ovacome members Lisa and Sophie will be hosting a session titled: 'Our first year after diagnosis'.

Unlike our webinars, our Members Series sessions are an opportunity for you to connect with members of our very own Ovacome community about their experiences of living with ovarian cancer.

Lisa and Sophie will be covering various aspects of their first year with OC, including: coming to terms with the diagnosis, undergoing chemotherapy, going through surgical menopause, managing others' expectations, adjusting to the 'new you' and the power of taking charge of the bits that can be controlled.

They have been so generous in preparing for the session and in considering what they hope will be useful and hopeful reflections, particularly for those who may have been diagnosed more recently.

The session will not be recorded, and there will be the opportunity to comment or to ask questions of the speakers at the end.

Hello Labradorlass

Thank you for your comment. We don't have any plans to repeat the session at the moment but our Members Series is ongoing so it is possible we will have similar talks in the future. We will keep the forum updated with our events and webinar schedule.
