Myocardial Perfusion Scan issue
I recently had a MPS; however, the consultant said he could not intepret the results as my heart and intestines are too close togeather, thus there is an overlap in the images. Has anyone experience of this?

A Hospital admission and another failed attempt at a CT Angiogram 😥
Hello All, It's me again. I apologise for posting so regularly in the last few weeks. It's been an eventful week 😕 I was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night. I had chest pain, left arm pain and a very high heart rate. I panicked and called an ambulance. I was told it could be a 40 minutes

MY SOUL IS TIRED
I received a scary diagnosis,
pleural
effusion
. I've freaked out, cried so hard and no one would answer the phone. I ended up calling the crisis line. I finally got ahold of my sister today.

Setback
My tumour has grown but only by a couple of mm, and one particular lymph node has grown by 5mm but my
pleural
effusion
isn't any worse and no new tumours. It has been assumed that the combined effects of my symptoms have caused this new problem.

frustrated with restriction of naproxen
After an unsuccessful spinal fusion surgery in 2001(and 2 more since) I’ve been taking naproxen for about 15 years and get that together with a long list of other pain meds every 3 months,I’ve now been told I can only have 2 month supply of naproxen at a time which is messing up my repeat meds routine

Hi folks, I’ve been posting on this platform for years, looking for answers and sharing my own experiences. I’ve had severe T for over 30 years. There have been incidences that have caused my T to increase. It’s either a bump to the head or the after affects of looking up, like when I’m painting a

Chest Compression from Breast Implants Worsening Pleural Effusions?
But even though her scans show complete resolution of the
pleural
effusion
on her right lung, and only a very mild remaining
pleural
effusion
on her left lung, she still has quite a bit of discomfort and trouble taking deep breaths and fully expanding her left lung.

Post Xeloda Options…Enobosarm?
The trial sponsor is not sure they can accept a cell block from a
pleural
effusion
though, they prefer tissue samples. As noted above, that would be difficult, but not impossible.

Awake craniotomy
Morning, it looks like my husband has tumour regrowth. A final perfusion scan on Thursday to confirm. The neurosurgeon has advised that next steps could be an awake craniotomy. Does anyone have any experience of this? Thanks

He has been taking steroids- Predisnolone- since Dec 2020 due to a lung condition/
pleural
effusion
- which was finally diagnosed as pulmonary sarcoidosis in May 2022 . It is possible the steroid usage has caused the problems with the pericardium but this remains unclear.
