Hello all, My first post here so be gentle! š In October ā21 I I had severe LAD disease which led to a myocardial infarction & a subsequent stent & all was good. In the last month Iāve been given a GTN spray only because the GP thought I had one, but I never had. Iāve also had an Echo recently,

Cardiologists reports required
What reports am I actually āentitledā to have access to (NHS Scotland)? Iām not under the direct care of a designated Cardiologist, only general Medical review at local hospital (and GP). A 24hr ecg suggested Atrial Fibrillation and flutters. As a result an EP study / Catheter Ablation discussed

Lori, NURSE
I worked in a homeless program where I worked 70-70 hours a week. I was in a BSN program full time. I caught meningitis from the homeless program. I went from a thriving healthy nurse who got the scholarship for school by being an exemplary Nurse. At first I thought it was a bad flu with light sensitivity

FFR Appointment
Hi, I wonder if anyone has experienced anything similar to me. In November 2021 after a few months of angina I had an angiogram which showed a blockage in my distal LAD. In February I was then sent for a Myocardial Perfusion Scan and Stress Test which showed 5% ischaemia and then in May 2022 I had

Thoughts on next steps
There are no avid pulmonary nodules, hilar or mediastinal nodes,
pleural
or pericardial
effusion
on the free breathing CT. Elsewhere there is physiological distribution of tracer. CONCLUSION: Persistent focal Ga-68 PSMA activity in prostate.

An update
Hello all, I hope you are all well. I haven't posted for a while, but I have had a few more tests, and I wanted to give all an update. I was booked for an exercise stress test, which was abandoned due to a very fast heart rate before starting. It was really strange because when they hooked me up

maybe I shouldnāt ask questions
hi. Iāve just been for my annual echocardiogram this morning. I had a nuclear perfusion scan last month to measure my ejection fraction and was told that it had increased from 44 to 53%. The cardiologist was very happy with the result. This morning I made the mistake of asking the echo technician what

Concern over heart issues affecting the brain, thought patterns, concentration etc.
After suffering from sheer exhaustion tiredness for over a year, the hospital picked up Bigeminy during an ECG in spring last year - when reviewing chest pain after choking on food. Finally saw Cardiology for 1st time in Nov when a follow up ECG showed bigemniy and frequent VE's. Heart ultra-sound

Can you have angina without ischaemia?
Good evening, I hope everyone is doing well today. I have recently just had some results come back from a CMR with Perfusion scan that I did. After being diagnosed with an NSTEMI back in January 2022 on the back of having a myocardial bridge (MB) and vasospasm in Dubai, the recent results are negative

Adenosine in CMR with Perfusion
I have a CMR with Perfusion scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday (28th). I have done some research online and it states that Adenosine is used for the scan. My question is whether any one has had any serious side effects to this whilst also being diagnosed with unstable angina/coronary artery spasms and

My sweet and gentle husband (aka Grumpy) has left this earth
It was complications of pneumonia with
pleural
effusion
and he just got too weak to fight any longer. He had little pain over the years and did not appear to have pain as he peacefully slipped away from me. His poor, beautiful body was maimed by so many needles, IV and sensors.
