So big bubs finally made his appearance....
So the second sweep i had was not enough to get things properly started, and last Tuesday, at 8am, we went in for our induction. I had the pessary and 9ish and was 3-4cm, then it got tricky... I was hypersensitive to it so by 12pm had gone from none to contracting 6/7 times every 10mins. Needless to

Persistant Coughing
Last night was one of the most horrendous nights I have had for years. I spend at least 5 hours sitting on the edge of the bed constantly coughing with no break. I had the fan on full to keep me cool as I had my oxygen on and the machine which supplies my oxygen pumps out a lot of heat. Every now

First Blood Transfusion
Today I am away to the Heath Hospital in Cardiff for the 1st of my 3 weekly Blood transfusions. As I have said that my blood is no longer producing enough antibodies and protein so for the next 12 months I am attending the hospital every 3 weeks for a blood transfusion. Today is an all day job.

Placenta previa update
Sorry I've not been on for a long time but internet wasn't great in hospital. So quick round up, I was admitted to hospital on the 21st of May with major placenta previa. I was devastated especially leaving the other 2 kids at home. Anyway I've made some amazing friends for life as we were all going

Haemoglobin levels have crashed
In hospital today having a blood transfusion as my haemoglobin levels have crashed I'm assuming due to the chemotherapy. I've been told that once the new blood is in my system I will feel less fatigued, have more energy and my emotions will be more on a normal level. Have anyone had any experience of

What are the Reasons of Renal Anemia
The symptom of renal anemia is so mild that patients may not feel it. Many patients think that having a good rest is enough when they have the symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, palpitation and shortness of breaths after activities because they do not have much knowledge of renal anemia. Is anyone else feeling crap?
I'm sorry to be so negative, and I know I am so lucky to have a baby on the way. I just need an outlet for how rubbish I'm feeling and just wondering if anyone else is feeling less than euphoric about pregnancy? I'm 36 weeks now so not long to go but still does feel like an age until baby is here. I
