Struggling after surgery & with political climate
I had surgery on my legs a little over a week ago and have been recovering at home since. I've gotten really depressed and am having anxiety, especially after watching the political news and reading about everyone's worst fears on social media regarding the outcome of the US election. I can now walk

Stuff to Do Before Comprehensive Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery
Hi all, I'm scheduling for aka Comprehensive Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery (Rotator Cuff Repair, Subacromial Decompression, and Shoulder Tenotomy). Fun! I live alone. I've arranged for cleaning, for grocery and food delivery, for errand running. I will try to schedule physical therapy and gather meds

I’ve been following your excellent supportive site since a minor heart issue 5 weeks ago when I was diagnosed with an enlarged right ventricle and atelactasis in base of 2 lobes and referred for an echocardiogram, the result of which I now have. No significant abnormalities….which I’m grateful for.

ET and Successful Hip Replacement
Hello friends, I posted some months ago about needing hip replacement for arthritis, and I appreciate the many replies I received. I am 5 weeks out from my surgery and doing great. I was able to have the surgery where I see my MPN specialist. I was nervous, given this was my first surgery since diagnosis

I've always had severely painful, heavy, and irregular periods but in the last 2ish years it has got out of control. My 'periods' can last over 60 days (continuously bleeding) and I bleed a lot in between periods to the

Feeling doomed today
Please can I ask for you thoughts and opinions, I understand it’s not medical advice and I’m speaking to Rheumatology but I need real like experience that only others on here have really. I came off Baracitinib in Jan because not really effective and affecting my lipids adversely. Then onto Tocilizumab

Help deciding on treatment
Discovered this forum a month ago and have found it to be a wealth of information, with very educated/informed members. Hoping that you can spread some of your wisdom and help my finalize my decision with treatment. I've posted more details in my profile as well as write ups from MSKCC on my Biopsy

Hi all, I’m 29 and had a laparoscopy last July, where they found endo in my womb, ovaries, rectum, pouch of Douglas and somewhere else I am forgetting! After the surgery, they suggested I went on contraception to stop it growing back - since my mum has had breast cancer twice, my options are quite limited

Looking for insights into Zoladex/downreg
After going through surgery for fibroid removal, unfortunately it didn’t work, with the wrong fibroid removed as I have lots, and the one we think is affecting implantation is still unchanged. Have very few embryos available after many stim cycles. Next step for me is looking like some sort of down
