CLL, skincancer and is this the end?
Husband is 73 has CLL for 10 years and any type of skincare you can think of and Diabetis2. As he is an avid walker he is fit and you would not know that he has all this happening. The latest cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma has been removed but one lymph node has cancer cells. I hope he will survive

Sunbeds are a Group 1 Carcinogen!
😔 Sadly, way too may lives have been lost to sunbed use. They are classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as a Group 1 carcinogen - this is its highest cancer risk category. Furthermore, a review by IARC found that first exposure to sunbeds before the age of 35 years increases

Does anyone else have a fave song for helping with the stress of having advanced PCa?
Dx in early 2022. A lot of tension and stress built as treatment escalated -- from Firmagon through radiation and since then abi+lupron. Especially during daily RT sessions with the big honking IMRT machine rotating around me. Tension exacerbated by knowing that PSMA-CT scan spine spots (3) were

Imipramine Inhibits Migration and Invasion in Metastatic_Castration-Resistant_Prostate_Cancer
This looks very interesting! If one needs to take an anti-depressant , this looks like it would be a great choice. Maybe another one of those no brainers that have low risk/ high probability of success in stopping progression to CRPC

bleeding after hyperbaric oxygen therapy
I had prostate cancer and prostate removed late 2018, 6 months later had 35 rounds of radiation in prostate bed because PSA was rising. All was ok until October 2022 when I had a heart attack. Cardiologist put me on blood thinners and 3 weeks later I had severe hematuria and had to be hospitalized.

colonoscopy safe with lowish platelets?
I just received news that my fit test was high and had detected blood and I have been referred under the 2 week cancer pathway. My platelets are lowish around 106 and red and whites at the lower end of normal. I have had 2 x 3 polyps removed, 2.5 years ago and 5.5 years ago. 2 were adenomas, and removed
