This is a post to let you all know about what's happening in Ovacome's Staying Connected programme next week - and to remind you all that you would be really welcome to join us. All these events are run online via Zoom. If anyone is unfamiliar with Zoom and would like support to get set up, we would be very happy to help - please just let us know.

Monday 3 April – Our Coventry support group are having a hybrid meeting (options to attend both in person and online) between 1pm – 3pm. This is a safe and supportive environment for anyone with an ovarian cancer diagnosis to meet others who may be in similar circumstances, ask questions and share experiences. Tuesday 4 April – Our gentle strengthening exercise class is taking place between 11am – 12 noon. These classes are designed to support those diagnosed with ovarian cancer and are run by Sarah Russell who is a clinical exercise and Pilates specialist for people with cancer. Sarah is also trained to deliver classes to those who have had stoma surgery. Sarah has a stoma herself, and offers specialist knowledge of abdominal surgery and rehab. Sarah will offer different exercises to suit different needs and fitness levels. Her classes will be a mix of strengthening exercises, core work, and Pilates. Wednesday 5 April – Our monthly online support group for those diagnosed with ovarian cancer under the age of 45 will be running between 5pm - 6:30pm. Thursday 6 April – Our weekly virtual singing group will be meeting between 2-3pm. This is a social, relaxed singing group which provides an opportunity for anyone whose life has been affected by ovarian cancer to meet others who may have been through similar experiences, in a fun and supportive environment.
