Run down and seeking advice
Hi. Hopefully I am doing this right... have never posted anything anywhere before now... just desperately need advice... I'm 43 and have an underactive thyroid- was diagnosed I'm guessing around 10 years ago. I take 375 levothyroxine. I feel tired all the time and get muddled / forgetful re: words

So, I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15 years old. I am now 27.. so yeah been living with it for a quite a while. I met my now husband back in 2008 and we knew from the start we wanted 3 children. That was our goal! So we got married and began trying to no avail. We were referred to a fertility clinic

Have I got Pernicious Anaemia ?
I was diagnosed by my GP as having Pernicious Anaemia around 5 years ago, I assume this was after one of my regular blood tests for type 2 Diabetes. Since then I have been having 1ml. injections of Hydroxocobalamin / Vitamin B12 at the surgery, originally every 12 weeks. However, as I didn't seem to

Is there any replacement to metformin to get around B12 issue with it?
I have been on metformin for about 11 to 12 years. Recently, my B12 readings are less than normal. Read metformin causes B12 deficiency. For the last few years, I have been taking meformin 250mg 3 times a day right after meal. My latest Hba1c is 5.02. Average glucose (MBG i think) is 97. FBS is 97. Please

Nurse review
went for my diabetic review with the practice nurse (I had to concede and come out of denial with a HbA1c of 70 and start metformin ), She gave me a bit of a stern word when I said I'd stopped my statin and said I was putting myself at risk of heart attack and stroke from the diabetes. She said I needed

Confuse about PCOS
I was told I have polycystic ovaries, last year, after a miscarriage in 2016, it didn't show on blood test, but on internal scan it shows, My period has been very regular until the last 7 months. I was prescribed metformin, but due other health complication I was advise to stop by my GP as it was interfering
