Ultrasound showed small thyroid

Hi,

I know the thyroid gradually shrinks with hashi's but I was just wondering if it's a sign of how far along the process/how much your thyroid is struggling

I have just got back from my US and they said everything OK apart from it's small which is normal in hypo.

My results have only ever beensull subclinical and I feel like my symptoms are far worse than my bloods indicate.

Could this help prove how crap I feel?

(last increased 3 weeks ago. Feeling worse but also started metformin which I've been told can hinder Levo absorption. Due new bloods in 3 weeks)

Your last results in your profile show you were under medicated. Just increasing by 12.5mcg may not be enough

Make sure to get full testing after 6-8 weeks.

Your ferritin was low in January too

I should mention I've increased another 12.5 since I wrote my profile so I'm now on 100mcg.

Will definitely be getting full bloods in 3 weeks.

I think starting the metformin for PCOS 2 weeks ago has made me feel worse so I'm not sure I'm going to keep on taking it x

Ferritin was quite low in Jan at 43 but in March I had full iron profile ferritin was at 74 but my iron was high. So I've always been worried about supplementing x

Just eating liver occasionally can keep levels up.
