Tendon issue - gutted!
I very recently re-started C25K because I'd got heavier, unfitter, and wanted to do something about it. I got all the way through Week 2 Run 2 before I had to book a physio appointment because my right knee was giving me problems. I thought it was tracking issues as I've had that before, but I was told

Friday Pom Pom Shout Starts Here 🎉🥳🍾🪩
I haven’t gone completely crazy! I know that it is Wednesday night and thus a bit early for Friday Pom Poms, but I have a ship to catch tomorrow, a train from the South West to North East on the following day and I am not about to trust the hotel WIFI for this important post. We have two intrepid runners

left shoulder pain and reach
Five months tomorrow since OHS for valve repair. Generally all good, back at work full time, walking 5 miles per day. However, my left shoulder began being painful about a month ago. This was at the same time that I returned to work full time so I’m guessing that it suddenly got used again. Not only

couch to 5k post total hip replacement
hello I am 9 months post hip replacement. I had a dual mobility cup replacement as I am hypermobile. I needed the replacement due to a fall and subsequent deteriorating osteoarthritis. I was told by a private consultant that I’ll never run again but my nhs consultant said I would. I have been a runner

Less than three days post transplant
So today (Wednesday 26th) hubbies revovery continues to go in a forward direction. He was a bit sore side lying overnight but hadn't grasped the concept of keeping his pain meds topped up. At this stage it's patient controlled analgesia where you have a little button that you can press every 5 minutes

Experienced with spinal cord stimulators?
Hello all, Hoping to hear some positive experiences with scs. I’ve had chronic pain since I was 17, for about 15 years now. And now my wife and I have a 6 month old baby, and I’m just totally, totally wiped out. Was diagnosed with stress fractures in L4, had a surgery that made the pain 10x worse

What to do next? Advice welcome please 🙏 Hi all, I 've been on 75 mcg levo for about 9 weeks. Results since January show conversion mostly dropping as I increase Levo. I just retested, after waiting a few weeks to see if symptoms settled. Test results in photo. Endo could see conversion wasn't good

Help me juggle SOC and my anxiety
I have just finish this May 18 months of Zoladex and had RT (VMRT 20x3Gy prostate and SV only) for localised G9 (PSMA no spread no SV involvement) after PSA was 8 following failed HIFU for G7) since 3 months after RT my PSA consistently 0.01 when on the HT. I now find myself MORE anxious as I deal

GP no help. /sigh.
Saw my GP today, after the 4 week appointment wait! I was armed with a list of physical ailments and internet research. He did at least apologise for not being helpful. Had my 70yr old mother with me as her brain seems to work better than mine at times! Got close to tears. Apparently it has to be fibromyalgia

Leg/calf pain?
I've been doing CT5K for a while now. Had some set backs but I'm finally at week 6, about to head into run three. But I'm still having a lot of leg muscle pain. I have issues with my joint and legs anyway. Everything is a bit to tight, and the joints are all slightly twisted (one set back was a repeated

Hi, new to this page/forum, looking for information and advice.
Have been on PAS page and Thyroid UK page for a few years but just thought I'd be greedy and join yourselves too. Have been having increasing levels of pain and discomfort for years but just told lose weight, take brufen. Last few years have been awful , eventually got a referral to Rheumatology. Bloods
