Adding Docetaxel to T3b?
My husband is 63, stage T3b N0M0. His biopsy showed all 12 cores positive with 80%+ cancer, GL 4+5 with
intraductal carcinoma
and original PSA was 12. According to PSMA pet scan 12 months ago, he has additional risk factors such as
ECE, SVI, PNI
, but no other spread. He has completed 39

Thoughts please!
I am still struggling terribly to tolerate any doseage of levo or lio - combo or mono. It makes me feel even worse/is completely debilitating. I have tried changing when I take the doses, the brand etc you name it and still no better. It’s notable that my blood pressure gets too low on it too. Am I

Escape from DA Augmentation
Thanks to the support of several contributors to this forum and especially Joolsg, LotteM, and my patient GP, I have been able to plan a route which seems at last to be positive and I feel I should post a note on my current situation. I am 3 months+ since my last DA rotigotine patch and at which point

Levo being reduced, but feeling under medicated.
Hi, I would greatly appreciate some input on my test results! I have been hypothyroid for over 17 years, and have always adhered unquestioningly to the doctor’s guidance, assuming that they were doing all they could. Having found this site, however, I am starting to wonder if there is more that can

Thyroid Madness continued
Well, I won't be multi-dosing again unless it synthetic T3 and T4. I'm at the YMCA and I'm very unhappy with the shape of my body. I gained weight around my middle. I don't think my legs look this bad. Maybe I'm in denial. However,, I would like to add T3 to my NDT if I could. I don't believe I'm going

do I need to stop Biotin containing supplements before a Blue Horizon iron status profile test?
I am testing my iron after very low ferritin results on a thyroid plus vitamins test ( I am seeing a Dr at private online clinic from the Thyroid UK list) In the past II had normal/high iron, so before I supplement I want to check all the iron indicators my question is: do I need to stop my b complex

T4/T3 combo v T3 monotherapy
Hello, can someone fast track me towards content to considerations of T4/T3 combo versus T3 monotherapy. I am trawling Dr Google and found many references but nothing specific. Context. Good news after 4+ years struggling on Levo and a steady downward spiral in 2023 I took the plunge and self trialled

What causes subclinical hypothyroidism?
My brief history: Diagnosed subclincal last year and have felt persistently awful on all doses of levo (25-75mcg) and 75 pushed my t4 slightly too high. The side effects of it have been debilitating and in many ways I feel worse taking it. 25mcg puts my t4 at around 18 which seemed high for a tiny dose

Can years-old injuries rear their heads when undermedicated?
Hi everyone, I’m interested to hear from you if you experienced or experience pain from old injuries when undermedicated for hypothyroidism. I’m wracked with pain everyday. It’s by far my worst symptom. Whilst the pain is widespread, it’s occurred to me that some of the worst affected areas are

Do you ever get properly well with hypothyroidism?
I’m a youngish person and just feel I won’t have decent quality of life ever again. I used to have a career I adored, was self employed, had hobbies, felt happy etc and now I just feel like I have nothing as it’s all stopped. If anything things have got worse on levo, no matter my doseage and adding

Suspected Pernicious Anemia - what next?
Hello, I am very glad to have found this forum as I have been researching B12D and PA a lot recently. I became familiar with the society’s website and found it so helpful. I am 29F in the US and I suspect I have Pernicious Anemia. This is what I know so far (sorry in advance if this post rambles on)

Increasing Levo but not feeling great
hellooooo I've been having some trouble with increasing my levothyroxine lately and wondered if you could help please? I've been taking levothyroxine for about 4 years roughly and it's very slowly been increasing (as expected). I started on 25, then 50, then I was on 75 for about two and a half

Could it be MS?
For the last 11 months, I have been experiencing numbness and tingling in both feet. I have noticed when its cold I feel worse. I also have numbness, tingling and weakness on my left side in my hand and lower arm. I had a MRI in April 2023 with no contrast; both came back normal. My symptoms have
