Preparing for GP appt
Hello I have a GP appointment in a few weeks to discuss blood tests results and symptoms (tiredness, weight gain, low mood, pins and needles). Based on what I've read on this forum, it sounds like these symptoms and results could be indicative of hypothyroid, but because TSH is within range I'm unlikely

Hello everyone.....
Hey Everyone, I'm Ben and 32 years of age from Dorset. As of last Friday, my doctor has put me on statins to reduce my cholesterol level and also a daily low dose of Asprin. He said this was for prevention of HA and stroke, as I've never had one. I had Mild Diffuse Coronary artery disease diagnosed when

in hospital, advice please
I am posting for my wife who is in hospital. She takes T3 (liothyrinine) as she is unable to convert T4. She normally has 200mcg per day but on medical advice due to heart problems she has had none for 4 days. She is now becoming vague and finding it difficult to clearly communicate. She could self medicate

New Hyperthyroidism diagnosis
Hi all, I am new here and have found reading through all the information I’ve found here invaluable. I have recently been diagnosed as having hyperthyroidism- my story is in my bio. I have my first endocrinologist appointment this week and I’m not sure what to expect. My GP wouldn’t prescribe Carbimazole

First time poster overwhelmed with symptoms and considering self-medicating with bovine adrenals & NDT. Asking for advice & recommendations
TLDR: First time poster diagnosed Hashimotos and POI, investigating IBS which is potentially also autoimmune cause. Fatigue, depression and anxiety are ruining my life. Low Adrenal Index Test results so considering self-medicating with Bovine Adrenals. High TSH and anti thyroid antibodies, but low-end-of-normal

7dp5dt Hcg 74 (IU/l)
So, after 4 failed IVF rounds behind us, I wanted to find out if our 5th round embryos have stared to implant at all. All I ever had previously were stark white BFNs. I have never ever had a positive pregnancy test in my hand and we have been trying for the last 8 years. I tested negative on 6dp5dt (

High Alkaline Phosphatase and knee/bone pain side effects with Venetoclax/Obinituzumab
Hi folks My question is about side effects with Venetoclax and Obinituzumab. I wonder if anyone out there has any insights. I'm 66, was diagnosed in July 2020. Watch & wait until July 2022. Started Venetoclax and Obinituzumab in New York at Sloan Kettering. I’ve completed the Obinituzumab, and

IBS disproved
GP kept saying I had IBS and I kept disagreeing. A thyroid test came back borderline for low thyroid and one GP said we can try you on thyroxine and see if that works. Started on lowest dose and increased to next level. Toilet habits became normal and I have had no more bloating. I have no more symptoms

Many Nodules on your thyroid? under/over?
Hi there, Sorry for the posts but my endo is basically no help at all!!! This is only place I can get any answers. I am still waiting on a result for my dominate nodule biopsy . which was 1.9in size . In the meantime, I'm just wondering as they said I had quite a few nodules on my thyroid
