He'llo everyone , I first posted on hear after my gp said he thought I had PMR. I took 20 mg of pred for 10 days. No improvement so more blood tests, and finally I had a Cervical spinal MRI in January. This has revealed some issues with Spurs on some vertebrae and general wear and tear. However te MRI picked up issues in my thoracic spine. Vertebrae T3 & T4 aren't right. As I understand it the disc between T3 & T4 has bulged.
Now in waiting to see the Neurosurgeons. I don't know if they will operate. Im playing the waiting game again.
Aside from all that I still have the most unbelievable fatigue,, muscle pain and daily headaches.
I'm hoping that very soon I will have all the answers.
Thank you all for your kind support.

Hi, I was given a Retelans Transdermal patch yesterday and oral morphine as a back up. I used morphine after the car accident in 2015 so I'm reluctant to use it again. But I guess needs must. I have also been told to use paracetamol in the first instance.Unfortunately I am allergic to anti inflammatory medications. I have another blood test on the 6/3. This time to look into the constant fatigue and also my CD4 white blood cells because I have lymphopenia.
There's a lot going on but for now I am doing what I can and resting whenever. I have 3 dogs, 2 x 19 mth old shihtzu's and the 3rd is another shihtzu's. He's almost 14.
I do feel guilty when I can't get them out
but they will quite happily rest with me, as long as its on my bed with me.
I hope you are as well as possible and thanks for your support.
