How to handle going off mirapex
My neurologist decided to take me off mirapex. This is a new neurologist since mine retired. She specializes in sleep problems. I also have sleep apnea. I dont know why she decided to take me off mirapex. When she told me I was in a state of shock. I also take oxycodone. She is taking me off

Pee problems
Lately my hypochondria has been in over-drive. I have incontinence. That is, when I feel like I'm done , and zip -up, I shortly see fluid has soaked into my denims. I use Myrbetriq, a drug to lessen bladder spasms. It works, that is, when I'm done I don't feel the urge to continue peeing

Motion Sickness
At the ripe old age of 77, I will be taking my first cruise this summer with my children and grandchildren. I'm trying to be prepared for anything so I asked my doctor about medications for motion sickness. He said I would not be able to use the patch that is worn behind the ear because it can cause

Back sliding and really scared
Since increasing my lithium dose before Christmas, my symptoms had been so much better, only having mild lows for a stretch of six weeks. I was still having the two to three week rapid cycling bipolar cycles, but my downs had been very mild. But this cycle it is back with a vengeance. Have felt horrible

Hello everyone 2
I finally quit taking Cymbalta. My vision was really starting to suffer. The uncontrollable muscle movements were keeping me up so many nights. For years I was taking it mainly due to the pain relief part. I talked to a Dr. I didn't taper off like planned. I feel so much better. I was on it for years

Anxiety and confusion
hi, I have suffered anxiety my entire life. Last year, my anxiety got real high, and I awake early every morning, very anxious with racing thoughts, nausea, etc. My GP added Abilify to my Zoloft, and I started to feel better, but then I started awakening every couple hours with nightmares. Finally got

Permanent afib 100mgm of Lopressor am & 50 pm plus eliquis. Decided to cut back to 50 in am because of blurred vision and now have had upset stomach times 1 week plus HR back up to low 100's. Thought I felt better on lower dose but maybe not??

A new approach for treatment of subthreshold bipolar disorders: Targeted high dose levothyroxine+repetitive TMS for mitochondrial treatment
A very interesting paper. Difficult to grab any individual bits for discussion or introduction. The whole paper isn't very long. Even if bipolar disorders are not themselves of much direct interest, it might be worth a quick read because it discusses the control group as well and their ability to tolerate

Hello, I'm trying but feel defeated
I wonder if I have Avoidant
Personality
Disorder
. I haven't specifically been diagnosed with that, but it sounds very much like me. I've tended to have limited social relationships in my life.

Bipolar II what does hypomania feel like?
Hey folks, I've been diagnosed with bipolar II but I do not have traditional hypomania symptoms. I wanted to know if anyone else relates to this. I do not have elevated mood or the lack of need to sleep. However, I have intense goal oriented activity, agitation and extreme anxiety, I can't sleep even

Getting No Help and feeling desperate
I have severe restless legs and am going around in circles with my doctor and neurologist. Being waiting months for a CPAP machine but now my doctor wants me to do another sleep study. I have been using kratom for years but now it's not really working for me and am close to packing it all in. I live

Valproate: new safety and educational materials to support regulatory measures in men and women under 55 years of age
I don't think there is any reason to expect many members to be taking any form of Valproate, but this is such an important issue, with such significant consequences, I've decided to post it anyway. Even if you are not taking it, someone you know might be. [i]
