Prostap long protocol

Hi everyone,I'm due to have a scan tomorrow to confirm whether we can proceed to egg collection on Monday (5th Feb) I am doing a long protocol and my prostap injection runs out on Saturday (3rd Feb) do any of you know if I'll have to do another one? It's a slow release injection so lasts for 28 days and I don't really want to have to do one for two days. Is there any alternative? Buserelin is out of stock at the moment so wasn't sure if cetrotide would be something I could ask for instead?

Try not to worry too much about this - the clinic already have a protocol in place for you They will give you all the information on your next visit Or could maybe call them at the moment for reassurance about what is happening re medication timings

Thank you, I just wish I could have a drug that doesn't last so long. It's great when it's needed for 4 weeks but a shame to be put in menopause for 28 days when I'll hopefully have collection two days after
