Improved sleep on anti-anxiety medication / antidepressants.
Has anyone gone on anti-anxiety meds or antidepressants (those that don't exacerbate RLS) and found that their sleep quality improved? Following on from a recent post containing Andy Berkowski's video on whether Periodic Limb Movement Disorder actually exists, i've been looking at alternative explanations

The key is to be mindful of whom you ask support
In this world, so often we meet people who choose to be right, instead to be compassionate. I do not judge them, because, at times, I myself might have wanted to offer my advice so much that forgot to connect on a deeper level, and forgot just to be there for the one who needs it. I just rolled out

Side effectd
HiI have had 2 instances of ppp now. The first time Quetiapine worked to resolve the symptoms. This second time though it wasn't effective, so I have been switched to ablify/aripiprazole. I am just wondering how long the side effects lasted for anyone else who took this medication? I have been on

Experience with meds?
Finally confirmed that I have BPD and when speaking with my psych she said we could try to see how I respond to risperidone. I told her I didn't wanna take prozac cause it dulls all the colors in the world. Anyone have any experience taking risperidone? Any side effects? I know they mentioned weight

relapsing after 10 years?
am I relapsing? I’ve been on aripiprazole for 10 years nearly. I was taken off it 5 months ago as it was causing drug induced Parkinson’s. I. The last handful of months, I believe weird things have been happening at night. Doors opening, hearing people walking around my bedroom at night, seeing insects

History terrorizing me
I am having lucid dreams that usually include my ex. I really loved him and I found out he was cheating. It broke my heart. I sold my home and moved away. Gave up my dogs. While I was out of state my mental health declined significantly. Hallucinations delusions depression. I blame him but I know it

Guilt over choosing to have another baby
Hi everyone 👋 It's been awhile since I last posted. I found the forum after I experienced psychosis following stopping breastfeeding my eldest daughter in 2021. Quite soon after leaving general psychiatric hospital I fell pregnant again which was a shock at the time but turned out to be the biggest

COVID between cycles and impact on egg quality ... Any knowledge/ experience?
Hey all - so I was meant to start my next cycle of IVF in 3 weeks time. I have been so healthy; haven't caught a cold or even a sniffle for the past 12 months but have somehow managed to pick up COVID from somewhere. I've had 3 vaccines and COVID once before but am still testing very positive 6 days

Recent exacerbation of PLMD
Hi everyone. I’ve been on Pregabalin for 10 months after coming off Pramipexole. I’m taking 350mg around 8:30pm but have given up trying to go to bed before 11:30-midnight. Whilst RLS is well controlled, the PLMD isn’t. Most recently I am now getting PLMD as soon as or shortly after I get into bed. Sleep

Abilify
Hi Everyone.....I have severe anxiety and depression (at least that the diagnosis we're going with now) and I'm taking 450 mg. of Wellbutrin. I shake almost all the time, more so when I'm stressed. My psychiatrist had me add 5 mg. of Abilify a few weeks ago. He just increased the Abilify to 10 mg.

Lixisenatide as a treatment for early Parkinson’s disease progression
In this randomized controlled trial, lixisenatide reduced motor disability progression in Parkinson’s patients. 2. Individuals in the lixisenatide group experienced greater gastrointestinal side effects rates than individuals in the placebo group. Evidence Rating Level: 1 (Excellent) https:/

Two-Week Checkpoint: No Progress
It has been two weeks since my declaration and I haven't lost a pound. I think I have developed an eating disorder because I am very pressured at home (studious family atmosphere LOL). I eat well during the day, every meal is balanced & low-cal, and then after 8 pm, I just can't resist a value pack of

Selegeline/RBD?
It's often said that all of the treatments currently in use for Parkinson's offer symptomatic relief only, and do not affect underlying pathology. However, a recent study suggests selegeline use impacts white matter microstructure and could be neuroprotective. I know white matter abnormalities have been

Depression sucks
I have been struggling for two year. In the last two years I have been hospitalized 5 times. I found that ECT/shock therapy, is the only thing that helps. So I started about a month ago feeling better and the depression was lifting. So I changed my ECT to every other week and it was going well, however
