Experience with meds?

Finally confirmed that I have BPD and when speaking with my psych she said we could try to see how I respond to risperidone. I told her I didn't wanna take prozac cause it dulls all the colors in the world. Anyone have any experience taking risperidone? Any side effects? I know they mentioned weight gain which scared the sh---- outta me since I already hate myself. I'm also on immunosuppressants which I heard could interact negatively. If anyone takes immunosuppressants and anti-psychotics I'd love to hear your experience ❤️

I took Risperidone for a very short time to help me sleep, I was taking a very small dose and it gave me the weirdest side effect. A week after taking it I started lactating. Other than that I didn’t have any other issues. I was also taking Paxil along with Risperidone. It helped me regulate my sleep, but I didn’t like the lactation side effect it caused me.

I can only speak about Prozac, but it in no way dulled the colors in my world. I just started taking it at the age of 57, even though I suffered with anxiety my whole life. I wished I had this many years ago. It took me a few months to really adjust, but it's been wonderful for me. Good luck and I really do hope you find what works for you.
