How Do I Handle My Severe Stress?
I'm new here. My husband has diabetes and kidney disease with projected dialysis beginning in 2 to 4 years. My question today is, I'm still on my employer provided Blue Cross/Blue Shield, but a lady at the local dialysis clinic said it would also be beneficial to sign up for medicare part B (I'm already on part A as I am 66 years old). What possible charges will Medicare part B cover that my Blue Cross Blue

Glad you Don't Skip
I'm 53 with congenital kidney issues. Due to my mother having childhood diabetics I was born with just one kidney & a plethora of other urinary issues. As a child I was in & out of the hospital with UTI & other related illness. I understood at a young age that eventually my single kidney would give

Questions..
Hey all just came back to work and university which has been helping me distract myself. Thank you all for the kind messages. Now I have a question. My mom was told she had multifocal invasive breast cancer, and they also told us it was a rare type. Oncologist says it is kind of random how she was checked

I'm new here
I'm nearing renal failure again & have no wish to restart dialysis. The few loved ones that I've told did not take it well & I'm feeling a bit selfish. I can't seem to find the right way to explain that this is my choice while trying to also comfort them. Any one have any words of wisdom?

I’m Worried
Last Year March 1 2019 To Be Precise, My Hypertensive Daddy Was Very Sick. We Got To The Hospital. The Doctors ran a test on him, his urinalysis was ok. But his ultrasound showed “diminished corticomedullary” and They Said It Was CKD and his Egfr was 35. Then He Did Dialysis Once And After 3 Months

First Face-to-Face With Other CKD Patients
I am a 76 yr old, live alone woman who has long prided myself on my independence. The CKD stage 3 diagnosis in 2019 left me feeling very alone and frightened. Both pcp and nephrologist seemed unconcerned about my CKD and I knew no one else with renal problems. After many hours and weeks spent searching

for 3 and a half years ahead of that, I had vocalised to the universe that I was ready for this - do not under estimate the power of saying something out loud with clarity and feeling. We set intentions that ripple through in this way.

What we're the physical symptoms that told you it was time to start dialysis?
I had a nephrology appt today. Albumin dropped from 3.2 to 3.0, largely because of family stress issues that caused me to lose my appetite. GFR 11. How did you know it was time to start dialysis? What physical symptoms were you experiencing?

Nephrotic Syndrome
I am new to this community. I would like advise on Nephrotic Syndrome. What can you positively do to improve nephrotic syndrome ? Following two Rituximab infusions, I am on dialysis since 8 months. My albumin has improved. Can I come off dialysis if the neprotic syndrome improves? I am not diabetic
