borderline tumor
Hi, my consultant can see a 2.2cm cyst on my ovary that he said might be a borderline tumor. Needless to say I am worried, what are the chances of the tumor being actual cancer? Does anyone know how accurate an ultrasound is? They are doing an MRI soon but I am going out of my mind with worry.

Verzenio
I have stage 3 lobular cancer. So far had surgery, radiation and currently on Letrozole. I am considered high risk. Did not do chemo because it is not always effective with lobular cancer. Oncologist wants to put me on Verzenio but I am reluctant due to side effects. I am 68 and a full time teacher and

Provenge Complete
Well folks, I completed Provenge with no issues or SE’s to note. I understand my PSA will not be lowered by this treatment and it has gone way up, from 24 first of October to 58 last week. I am still waiting to hear from Sarah Cannon Research to review possible clinical trials. In a way I feel like

Recurrence after prostatectomy
I have a relative who had surgery 6.5 years ago. Pathology was very favorable, 3+3+tertiary 4 i.e. less than 5%, no pos margins, no ECE, no nodes. He remained undetectable for 6.5 years, but now is .07 verified. What would SOC be for him? Prostate bed or wide radiation, length of ADT, just Lupron or

I take 3000 a day and I weigh 135 lbs. My regime is 7 days on and 7 days off. However I started with 3500 and that really affected my hands and they lowered my dosage. I am still having challenges with my hands but it’s not bad. They get extremely dry and crack, so I try to keep them moisturized

Temporary stoppage of Ibrutinib
I need to stop IB one week pre/post surgery. Today is day 3. Has anyone started feeling reversal symptoms? I’m feeling more fatigued. Hoping my lymph nodes issues don’t return. Just curious.

Advice? Anyone taking Herceptin Perjeta and Faslodex? And bye Ibrance
Hi everyone. My onc switched me off ibrance and Exemastane bc initial breast tumor is growing and has become resistant to these meds. I knew like all of us here that first line of treatment would end sometime (almost 4 years) but I’m really nervous about this new normal I’m entering into with 3 week

Princess of Wales
Many of you will have seen the Princess of Wales is having preventative chemotherapy for cancer. It must have been very difficult for her to speak about when still trying to digest the information herself. I rarely tell anyone I am suffering from a cancer, I usually say I have a bone marrow disease.

bicalutamide no longer as effective?
After more than two years of bicalutamide monotherapy and repeated PSA<0.1 I just received a 0.6. Before the bicalutamide my PSMA scan showed activity in only the seminal vesicle region. PSA was 2.5 at that time. Lupron had ceased being effective. Bicalutamide had a terrific response. I don’t think PSMA
