Stomach hurting.. help??
Hi guys so for the past month I have been having abdominal pains. I don't go to the restroom like I used to. I went to the doctor and I had to take a urine test and the doctor said I had blood in it. So I went to the hospital got a sonograph, CT scan, and x ray and they said everything looked normal

after feeling well for the first time in over a year, my blood results are back, could you please advice?
Since this forum's precious and irreplaceable advice, I begun supplementing with Vitamin D, C, iron, B12 and B complex, K2, and continued my HLC and
pepsin
, cider vinegar/lemon and probiotics. I am in 125 T4 which I take last thing at night and 10 mcg of T3 at midday.

VITAMIN DEFICIENCY with reference to B12, also PPI's
You see, the ability to absorb B12 naturally present in foods depends on the presence of adequate stomach acid, the enzyme
pepsin
and a gastric protein called intrinsic factor to release the vitamin from the food protein it is attached to.

Betaine HCL
Good morning, I have been taking the above, 600 mg betaine, 60mg
pepsin
as I suspected low stomach acid. I am up to 7 tablets with each meal with no warm sensation in my stomach as described on numerous websites. Is this normal and how far do I go? Any advice or insight would be appreciated.

So far tried grain, free dairy free diet, lowish FODMAPs, probiotics, HCL with Betaine &
Pepsin
, digestive enzymes. Anything else worth trying? Would be great if my daughter's guts would settle down in time for her A levels. TIA.

PPIs & GERD: Inflammation, Not Acid, Cause of Gastro-Eosophageal Reflux Disease, Study Suggests
A]lthough the inciting pathophysiology is unquestionably the reflux of gastric and duodenal secretions into the esophagus, this evidence suggests that the effect of that reflux is the initiation of cytokine-triggered inflammation rather than the long held belief of a direct chemical effect of acid,

GERD/Reflux = Panic Attacks?
So in November of 2015, I had my first panic attack. It scared me, to say the least. Three doctors later and a good therapist later, I was doing much better. The doctor at the Med Center I went to in November said that I had acid reflux and that is what caused my panic attack. I am still dumbfounded

Acid reflux link
I have therefore done some research and sent off for a load of health supplements (Betaine,
pepsin
, enzymes etc) because of the alternative view that older people (I'm 58) tend to have lower stomach acid, and that causes poor digestion, regurgitation etc which feels like reflux.

Feeling anxious
I ordered Swanson Hydrochloric Acid with
pepsin
and started off taking 1 twice a day for 5 days and it made no difference, so, I upped the dose to 2 twice a day, no difference and then I introduced Apple Cider, and am still struggling, (I have never suffered from indigestion).
