The science of Parkinsons. Easy to understand information about pd provided by scientists.
https://scienceofparkinsons.com/ Check it out. The latest blog is on The drugs – Dibenzoylmethane and Trazodone – currently used to treat cancer and depression, respectively. In this post, they review the research and discuss what it could mean for us with Parkinson’s disease.

Parkinson's symptoms and left handedness
Hi all, newbie here, when can we have this drug in Adelaide, Australia, Does anyone know? I initially came on line to ask the following but saw the new about the new drug. But I had a thought, might I suggest, that in Parkinson's, left handed people may not have the same writing problems as right handed

What to do about Frequency for those of us with Parkinsons
I'm Bev Appleby and have had PD for 6 yrs. I take LDN, sinamet just half a tab at 11 am and half at 5 pm and I also take Azilect. I'm doing well. Very little shakiness. But I do run to the bathroom alot. I was wondering if anyone knows what I should do about frequency?

Parkinson's to PSP
We never saw the Datscan until January of 2017, but we were told that it confirmed
Parkinsonism
, but it appeared to be ATYPICAL. From 2015 to 2017 he did all that was suggested for PD.

PD : Braak H, Del Tredici K. 2017 locus coeruleus, periphery
I have been perusing Braak et al 2004 and Zarow et al 2003 (1,2) and focusing on a seeming contradiction regarding the locus coeruleus (noradrenergic) . The seemingly contrary findings have been clarified in a recently published essay by Braak and Tredici (3). Research by Braak, Tredici, and colleagues

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)
Hello. I have been reading your posts for a long time since a dear friend of mine was diagnosed with this terrible disease. I just watched a video about the use of TMS therapy (a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain). It says that this therapy alleviates

Muscle Relaxer?
I have PD and am currently taking Azilect, Ropinerole, and Carbidopa/levidopa. I am very active, but lifted a heavy object yesterday and have painful muscle spasms in my lower back. Can I take a muscle relaxer - Carisoprodol - which is leftover from a spinal fusion I had before going on PD meds?
