Adult ADHD - Vyvanse/Adderall do NOTHING - Not sure where to go from here...
I have so much trouble focusing and am so absent minded that it hinders every aspect of my life, from
parenting
, to housekeeping, to my marriage.

Parenting When Anxious/Panic Attack
I have a 7 year old daughter and an almost 4 year old son. Today, while driving, I suddenly felt panicky. My heart was beating fast and I started to worry I would faint. I had just had lunch so blood sugar should have been fine. Now, I’m home with both my kids and I can’t sit still. I’m pacing in another

How do I go about getting an anxiety diagnosis?
The doctor actually pushed my mom out of the room and made her listen to me cry while lecturing her on proper
parenting
. Since then I have hated doctors of any kind. I guess my other fear is they will tell me that I don't have anxiety. Now I know, thats insane! Who would want anxiety?

ADHD Parenting Guilt
I just feel guilty. I cant seem to put my passions away long enough to properly be "there" for my girl. Anyone else hyperfocus fir hours on something that interests them!?!? Then when that passion has been satisfied, your eyes are open to all that is around you until another thing "pops" in your mind

W8R1 Thanks Gareth!
So hadn’t run for a week due to single
parenting
as OH away and then the gales! However despite ‘Gareth’ got out today and ran round my local streets for first time. Virgin Media recently dug up and badly filled in the pavements so it was a bit of a rubbish surface.

Knocked down yet again.
Even though he denies me
parenting
time, denies my child dental and healthcare treatment, denies my family time with our child. They said what my ex is doing isn’t bad enough to warrant my son moving. I’m sorry I can’t just pick up my life I’ve established in another state and move overnight.

Can anyone recommend jobs that would be appropriate for someone with Inattentive ADHD?
The most recent ADHD book that I read blamed the disability on bad
parenting
i.e. ‘mommy didn’t give you enough hugs so now you have ADHD.’ Having been aware of my learning disability for four decades I have tried these resources but so far haven’t found much to be very helpful.

Looking to connect with adults with SC. Horrible body aches making it hard to cope with parenting and daily life.
Hi I'm new here and I am 39 living with sickle cell. I am also a mom of 5 children and I was wondering are there other parents who have multiple children and how do they cope every day. Now that I'm older I experience full on body aches every day. Does any one else deal with the constant body pain all

Is it time for a second opinion?
Despite all of the school accommodations and services he receives (along with our very supportive
parenting
style), he continues to struggle with impulse control and physical boundaries. It seems to me that he is caught up in a never ending ADHD/anxiety cycle and he is spinning out of control.

Hello, introducing myself:))
I have, however, experienced
parenting
a child with some mental health challenges. Your support of one another is amazing, and as a coach, helps me understand the real day to day challenges.

Can’t stand it
having to be the bad guy when “mom says it’s time to go to bed” or “mom says you need to turn off the video games” I can’t control my ex but I’m sick of feeling trapped here in a house I don’t feel is my home, with a man I no longer want to be with but share a child with, while watching his haphazard

#Tuesday Tips
On Tuesdays, we'll focus on #TuesdayTips and want to hear your best
parenting
hints. Today's tip is: If you're trying to encourage your child to eat, or eat more different foods use questions that they can't respond to by saying 'no'! You could try: What are you going to try next?

New, Exhausted, & Afraid
I am also willing to take
parenting
classes and attend therapy together so I can learn how to parent my child in the best way possible that will meet his needs while still ensuring I do not allow him to hurt himself or others. Anywho, I have no advice to give at this point.

Co
parenting
is going well. I am on here because i do struggle as everyone does in some form and it's nice to let it out once in a while and get different perspectives on various issues. Letting it out is amazing, i know that. It takes a large amount of weight off the shoulders.

Left alone at 8months pregnage
I feel if I say was I think I need to I'm gonna push him far away were its makes co-
parenting
really hard and unpleasant. I have good parts of the days then I start feeling lost and alone.

Dad's "TIGER

". Letting my circle down. Being alone. Lethargic. Trusting the wrong people. I cannot confide in my inner circle because.. well, I was raised to think that I was the bigger sister & that comes w/ loads of responsibility.

It’s been a while, but wanted to share some news
I still have supervised access but I’ve got a
parenting
assessment starting this month, it was supposed to start last month but the social worker has been off sick for a month, so it’s been delayed. If I pass that, which I know. I will, I can have unsupervised access and finally get them on my own!
