Steroid withdrawal or PMR (undiagnosed) ?
I’ve tried
paracetamol
which helps if just a bit achy but not if pain is worse. Think this is why I’m feeling so rubbish about my weight etc. I’m generally feeling unwell and that negatively affects my thought processes. Thank you

Stopping medication
The withdrawal was terrible, one night I tried Ibuprofen,
paracetamol
, magnesium etc etc but nothing helped at all. The next day I decided to try cbd oil and for the first night in so long I slept all night! I did feel rough the next morning but atleast I had slept.

Arthritis in big toes and others curled up
I have not taken more than
paracetamol
for it and it no longer works. What do any other sufferers suggest doing for it and perhaps I need another Forum that you can suggest,

GP reducing pain relief
I take
paracetamol
, ibuprofen and codeine through the day. The GP have always not been happy about increasing my codeine which is 30mg 4xdaily so it can still be increased. To my horror they have reduced this to 2x30 and want me off of it.

NSAIDs Might Exacerbate or Suppress COVID-19 Depending on Timing, Mouse Study Suggests.
( NSAIDs = Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, eg Aspirin, Ibuprofen,
Paracetamol
) New research shows that non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) reduced both antibody and inflammatory responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection in mice.

Dis-appointment
Update Hello all. Well today I had my first f2f with the consultant since diagnosis and you can probably tell from my title that I am not happy. In fact I am really, really, really p'd off. She was very pleasant and not at all dismissive but she didn't examine, said she agreed that if I have seen

I have been on 100mg Gabapentin for almost 3 weeks now this week got very dizzy and couldn't stay awake is this normal?
I am also on 500 mg naproxen 2xday
paracetamol
4xday and 75mg Venlofaxine once a day. The last 4 days I have slept almost constantly only waking up to eat or use the bathroom. When I am awake my head feels woozy and I just want to go back to sleep.

Pain killers whilst breastfeeding
Hello, for the last 5 days I have had ear ache and over the last 24 hours it has got progressively worse (I shall be contacting the doctors first thing tomorrow) I've been taking
paracetamol
but wondered if there's anything else I can take whilst breastfeeding. My baby is 7.5 months old.

Annual ranty post - I'm sorry in advance❤️
For the last 6-8 months, the pain I'd got so used to handling has skyrocketed tp the point that after a decade, I'm finally prescribed painkillers that aren't
paracetamol
or ibuprofen. Asked to be referred back to.my gynae at the beginning of November and yet to hear back, no surprises there.

Hello!
I had a very sore throat just after Christmas (4 weeks ago from the time of writing this) which I was taking 2 ibuprofen and 2
paracetamol
3 times a day for a number of days. It felt like a swollen gland that was sore to the touch.
